YOHO Treasure Island Hotel

This hotel is really not good, it's full of complaints. 1. The soundproofing is terrible. At night, you can clearly hear people talking in the hallway. The noise from the room being cleaned next door is also very clear. 2. The bathroom smells really bad. Every day these past few days, the sewer smell in the bathroom has been very strong. 3. There's no 'do not disturb' button or sign, which resulted in me being woken up by the doorbell while I was sleeping. 4. Every time housekeeping finishes cleaning, they adjust my room to 14 degrees Celsius (57°F). Every night I come back to a freezing cold room. 5. It's not eco-friendly. I didn't even finish the toothpaste and shower gel, but they replaced them with a new set every day. The toothpaste packaging is also inconvenient to open, so I had to open a new one daily. 6. They made a mistake with the amenities once. Halfway through my shower, I realized they gave me two conditioners and no shampoo.

Traveling with kids, the highlight for them was definitely the hotel's pool! On hot days, after getting tired from shopping, we could always head back to the hotel for a refreshing dip. The hotel's location is also excellent. From the Border Gate, you can take the shuttle bus from Wynn or MGM, and it's just a few minutes' walk after getting off. It's also only about a ten-minute walk to popular attractions like the Ruins of St. Paul's. The hotel also offers shuttle services to The Venetian and the Border Gate, but make sure to check the schedule! However, the hotel states check-in is at 3 PM, but even when checking in past 4 PM, we were told many rooms weren't ready yet. That's a significant drawback. Overall, this hotel is very suitable for families traveling with children.

The room was very clean, and the hotel's location was good. The room I booked had a view of the Grand Lisboa. I was quite worried before because I saw a lot of bad reviews. Luckily, I didn't encounter any issues, but they did deduct fifty from my deposit, and I'm not sure why. I saw other reviews mention that if you pay cash, they refund it on the spot without deductions, but I forgot to exchange cash when crossing the border. Overall, I still highly recommend it, and I'll consider booking here again next time I visit Macau.

An absolutely fantastic hotel, very modern and Instagram-worthy! It's right across from the Grand Lisboa and Lisboa, making it a highly recommended stay for exploring the Macau Peninsula. Our sea-view room faced the iconic Macau Tower, and looking down, you could see the hotel's infinity pool, which even has an 'I ❤️ Macau' photo spot. The bed and duvet were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. There's a McDonald's about a 700m walk away for late-night snacks, and a bus stop just 200m away, making getting around super convenient! Apart from not being able to reach the front desk by phone, everything else was excellent, and the delivery service via their mini-program was also great.

I booked a sea-view king room, but when I checked in, I realized there was a connecting door to the room next door. Even though the door was locked, the soundproofing was terrible; I could hear everything my neighbors were saying. I even specifically mentioned in my reservation that I'm a light sleeper and needed a quiet room. The lazy guy at the front desk – couldn't you have just glanced at my notes and asked if I wanted to switch rooms? Later, when I called to complain, I was told that every floor has two rooms like this. So, everyone, please be aware of this next time you book a sea-view king room!

If any of the following applies to you, consider this hotel carefully: you have a lot of luggage, are traveling with family, have mobility issues, or are on a tight budget. (Of course, if you're young, fit, or plan to take taxis, you might not mind as much.) Overall, my stay wasn't particularly satisfying. The outdoor views and pool are definite плюсы, but the stuffy May weather and inconvenient location were drawbacks. My review will focus solely on my personal experience: Upon entering from the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge port, I couldn't find any hotel shuttle bus, nor were there any signs indicating one. I had to go to the Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal first, then transfer to a Wynn Macau/Grand Lisboa shuttle. To reach the check-in lobby from outside, you have to walk up a slope under the sun, past shops, then go down a floor. If coming from the car park, you need to pay close attention to the signs (detailed routes are available on Xiaohongshu), walk quite a distance, cross several thresholds, and navigate a winding path before reaching an elevator. The hotel is busy with many guests and rooms, so try to avoid peak check-in and check-out times. The in-room phone is perpetually unanswered (I tried for over 10 minutes, pressing every button, with no one picking up), which was a terrible experience! The front desk staff probably deal with a large number of guests daily, so don't expect too much enthusiasm from them; they seem to have lost their passion for the job. I took the hotel's shuttle to the Border Gate, which departed on time and was quick (less than half an hour). However, the bus drops you off in a small parking lot surrounded by residential buildings outside the Border Gate. From there, you have to drag your luggage, take an elevator up to cross the road, then take another elevator down, and walk a considerable distance to reach the departure hall. Given the age of the Gongbei Port, a lot of walking is to be expected. As someone from Guangzhou with certain expectations for food, there isn't much good food near the hotel. What's available is only enough to fill your stomach.
