Unless the room rate is exceptionally low and you're staying for purely economic reasons, this hotel isn't really suitable. The front desk staff had a terrible attitude – it was my first time experiencing such rudeness. The breakfast, which you have to pay for, was basically inedible; I'd only describe it as 'making do.' The coffee, milk, and soy milk all seemed to be made from cheap instant powder, watery and with that sickly sweet, cheap taste. At night, the noise was really bad; kids were running in the hallways and adults were chatting, and no one seemed to care. Plus, there's construction going on nearby, and it's quite far from the city center, probably in a remote suburb of Macau, nowhere near Senado Square. The prices on Ctrip were also unstable; I booked a night for around 800, only to find it had dropped to 300 upon arrival. When I tried to discuss it with the hotel, they just dismissed me, citing 'rules.' The Ctrip customer service tried hard to compensate a small part of the difference. On the positive side, the room hygiene was good, and the cleaning lady was very diligent.

Staying at this hotel is a bit of a hit or miss, as soundproofing is the biggest issue. If you get a good room, it's great. This time I was lucky and got a quiet room on a quiet floor. The cleanliness was fine, and the towels were good quality.

When checking in, I specifically asked the front desk staff for a quiet room. Even though it was on a lower floor, they thoughtfully arranged a room not facing the road, and indeed, there was no street noise. However, I could still hear the sound of people opening doors next door and water running, which suggests the walls might be a bit thin. Breakfast is included with the stay now. While the selection isn't huge, with mostly standard breakfast items, it's definitely filling. The pork chop with fruit juice was particularly flavorful.

Even though the hotel is a bit older, it has all the essentials. The air conditioning works great, and for the friendly price, the breakfast is quite good too.

I extended my stay for another day due to some business, and the value for money is really exceptional. It's perfect for backpackers. Although breakfast isn't overly lavish, it offers a good variety of meat, eggs, vegetables, carbs, and fruits, which is perfectly adequate.

The hotel is close to Senado Square, which makes shopping very convenient. The price is also reasonable. We booked a triple room, and it was compact yet functional. However, when we came back at night, we noticed a 思亲园 (memorial park) and a Catholic funeral home nearby. Walking around at night felt a bit creepy.

This is my second stay here, and I'll definitely choose it again if I'm ever in the area. It's incredibly convenient. There are several large supermarkets downstairs, and a bus stop right there. The border crossing is only a seven or eight-minute walk away. Plus, it's not expensive.
