Mandarin Oriental Macau

The front desk upgraded us to a bigger room, and we could even see the tower from the bathtub. The small details were well-executed, even for a Mandarin Oriental. Overall, we were very satisfied.

It was a wise decision to choose the Mandarin Oriental again for my second trip to Macau. I received a room upgrade and was pleasantly surprised to catch the sunrise. The housekeeping service was incredibly attentive; every evening when I returned to the hotel after resting and before heading out for dinner, I'd find turndown service, a tidied room, and refreshed amenities. The desserts and breakfast were as delicious as always. Very satisfied.

Mandarin Oriental Macau truly stands out in the luxury hotel market with its unique 'no casino' policy, unparalleled sea views, legendary Asian service, and top-notch dining and spa facilities. This time, I brought my 88-year-old mother for a holiday, and we even captured the most beautiful sunset over the sea. The breakfast was incredibly rich and delicious; we enjoyed both the Chinese and Western pastries. We also indulged in the hotel's sea salt bubble bath and booked a handmade essential oil soap workshop. Our sole purpose was to revel in the tranquility, elegance, and full sea-view environment – a peaceful escape within the bustling city of Macau.

I contacted the hotel beforehand to let them know it was our honeymoon. They helped decorate the room and even sent up a generous amount of desserts (I absolutely love all kinds of sweet treats!). I really appreciate the hotel's thoughtful arrangements. The room was also very comfortable with a great view. This was my first time staying at a MO, and it was a fantastic experience!

This will be my go-to place in Macau! I stayed for three nights last time, and four nights this time. I'm always impressed by the thoughtful little details. For example, on the second day, a small shelf was added to the bathroom vanity for my toiletries, which I've never seen in other hotels – at most, they'd put down a small cloth. Another example is not needing to bring your own charging cable, and the earplugs by the bed. The location is excellent, with great views and convenient access to everything. I absolutely love it! The gym also has a fantastic selection of equipment.

The room was spacious, and they offered a complimentary extra bed for children. They even provided sleep-aids like aromatherapy roll-ons or steam eye masks on the nightstand, which was a very thoughtful touch.

This hotel doesn't have a casino, so it's not as crowded. The restaurant is quite small, and while the breakfast selection isn't huge, it tastes decent. The room isn't big, but then again, the price isn't high either. The doorman was really enthusiastic; he helped me call a taxi for a long time, which was great! 👍 If you're heading to the airport, you can actually use the hotel's car service for 150, which is pretty close to the 100 it would cost to get there yourself. Overall, I'm quite satisfied, aside from feeling the room was a bit small. I'm planning to go back in March and have already booked again!
