Debod Hostel

Honestly, I didn't like it at all. There are no doors between what are supposed to be rooms, there are bugs, I won't be back.

The plug next to the bed wasn't working, so I had to use the public outlets, which was a bit inconvenient.

Well, it's a long story. In short: I'll never try to save money by staying in a hostel again! 🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲 Before booking, I read reviews mentioning bedbugs, etc., and thought, "Let's try it to save money, it shouldn't be a problem, right?" 😅 The next morning I got blisters, and by the third day there were even more. The money I spent on medicine could have been used for a hotel stay. Next time, I won't force myself to suffer.

Everything was fine; it was a quiet environment, unlike some hostels that are very noisy, and the cleanliness was good. They had bed curtains, which is why I chose this place; drawing the curtains provided good privacy.

The front desk staff were friendly, which was great. It was reasonably clean, and I would recommend it if you want to stay as cheaply as possible. There is one USB port on each bed. There is also a hairdryer, but it is shared by everyone. There are three shower rooms each for men and women. The showers are fixed to the wall and cannot be moved. Shampoo and body soap are located in one of the three shower rooms, so you have to find them to use them. One problem was that the ceiling of the dormitory beds is low, so you hit your head when you sit on the bed. This was the case even for me, a woman, so it must have been even more cramped for men, and I often saw people getting out of bed and sitting on the floor.
