Ibis Styles Madrid Airport Valdebebas

This modern style hotel is very closed to the airport but you need to take a taxi or the shuttlebus. The people are helpfull and friendly. The breakfast is very rich. The room was clean, big enough for one person (for 2 persons only if you just stay one night). There is a bar, open till late in the night. In the surroundings there is litteraly nothing (no shop at all!).

This hotel was gorgeous. We stayed here for one night in between of connecting flights, it was comfortable and very clean. It was easy access to the train station and provided a shuttle bus to the airport. I would recommend staying here for a short stay. The pool also looked lovely however, we didn’t use this during our stay.

I stayed here for a night before my next flight, and overall, it was a decent transit option. The hotel offers a free airport shuttle, which makes transportation very convenient. However, if you arrive during a busy time, you might need to wait for the next shuttle as there’s no reservation system — it’s first come, first served based on the schedule. The room was clean and comfortable, with basic toiletries like shampoo and body wash provided, as well as a hairdryer. I arrived early in the morning and had to wait, but they kindly let me check in about an hour earlier than the official time, which I really appreciated. The biggest downsides were communication and baggage storage. I sent an email in advance to ask about the shuttle bus, but never received a reply (still haven’t). Also, there is no proper luggage storage service — if you want to leave your bags, you have to pay to use the lockers located in the underground parking garage. There’s also not much around the hotel, so I would only recommend it for travelers needing a short overnight stay between flights.

We booked this hotel because they advertised a shuttle bus (logic for an airport bus but better be sure). But we never managed to get in since all the written messages got the automatic answer ‘we will deal with it when you arrive ‘!!! We called 3 times and never managed to talk to anyone. We only discovered the shuttle schedule after arriving at the hotel with an expensive taxi ride (8min 22 euros). Also note that there are only 10 trips in the morning and 10 in the afternoon with quite a long break because the driver needs to rest ! What kind of airport hotel is that. The room is clean and nice because it’s brand new but there’s not even a kettle in the room…

Nice newly built hotel in the Valdebabas / Airport area, the room itself was a good temperature in the warm spring, with a comfy bed, and daily housekeeping. Breakfast was very good and the staff were friendly and spoke good English. The rooftop bar and pool did not seem to be in operation but I think this could be some teething issues for a newly opened hotel. Hopefully as the area grows there will be more to do in the evening, but links to Madrid Chamartín are easy to get to.

It’s just a transit hotel don’t expect too much.
