The exterior looks pretty ordinary, but as soon as you step into the lobby, you're greeted by a grand, warm, and inviting atmosphere. The room itself is a mix-and-match style; it has an elegant purple main theme, but then the bathroom is beach-themed? And on the walls, there are Asian-style goldfish illustrations. Let's talk about breakfast – I absolutely loved it! There were all sorts of sausages and roasted vegetables. I'd eat until I was stuffed every day before heading out to explore. Oh, and before you leave, you can even buy some ham from the Dia supermarket next door to take back home! The location is fantastic, right next to the metro station and Gran Vía! This is super important for a shopaholic like me!

Terrible experience. 1. I sent them 2-3 mails from Trip.com & hotel email after booking, nobody responded then I messaged them in Instagram handle and finally managed to get hold to them. 2. I asked to let me check in 30 mins before because of other trip booking timing. (30 mins no big deal right?). Just to annoy me they let me check in 45 mins after the scheduled time. 3. In that mean time when I am standing at reception, many others are shouting at them for bad service. But new entrants are given room quickly if they are European, and kept waiting if they are Chinese or Indians. I highlighted the same to staff as well. Will not recommend to anybody, even if you are overbooked you should not be ****** & should value requests done months in advance. 4. They told me cleaning took time, but when I went room nothing was wet & looked like it wasn't even cleaned. 5. The rooms are terrible & crampy. They are in narrow hallway & you can hear everything that's happening in next room. Because of bathroom flush sounds and door opening noise we could not sleep whole night. 6. The reception desk had 3 staff & more than 20 waiting members. When they were not able to answer they were faking taking call. Many of us saw them talking to empty line.

The room was great, and the hotel is not far from the train station, making transportation incredibly convenient. This was especially important since we were traveling with a child. The hotel environment is also quite good.

It was National Day, so the hotel's location right next to Gran Vía meant the price wasn't cheap. The room was alright, but the blinds had an issue. I called the front desk and they sent someone to fix it very quickly.
