The location is in a quiet neighbourhood and nearest supermarket is 5 minutes’ walk away… there is however limited fridge space and seating area so it can get crowded, also despite labelling my food, it was still stolen! (Such a common occurrence is food theft in hostels)

They are shameless. I made a reservation, and when I arrived, they made me pay again, saying that Trip hadn't paid, which was a complete lie. Not to mention the kind of people staying there... pure scum.

The worst hostel I've ever stayed in anywhere in the world. There's no air conditioner and no fans on the room. It stinks. The room stinks. The bathroom was filthy and stinks. It was a smelly stinking disgusting slum. Also there was 0 members of staff there at all times except the cleaners who hardly ever come. The members of staff are apparently in USA and abroad. One of them when I called him to ask where my room was or if someone was going to show me where my room is because there's so many rooms and it's quite a big building. He said "he's never physically been in the building and doesn't know where the room is. They were rude over the phone, argumentative and just horrible bad attitudes. Nasty terrible people that aren't doing their jobs properly. I came to Madrid for a city stay for reasons of leisure and tourism because I'm back packing Europe trying ti have a good time but the members of staff over the phone just caused me stress and grief. They have expelled me from the hostel permanently and I was thinking how can you even do that when you're never even here to kick me out anyway? They expelled me because I complained that the ridiculous awful complicated and difficult self check in machine was faulty and had errors. The self check in machine is awful, slow and stupid. There should have been a human receptionist doing their job to welcome me and show me to my room and give me my room key in person instead of too many complications with that self check in machine which just causes misery and stress . As a result of the self check in machine not working and no members of staff ever being there, I was homeless on the streets of Madrid 1 night because I physically couldn't check in. The people over the phone didn't care that I had to sleep on the streets of Madrid and said its impossible to even just let me in. It's expensive as well. I paid like £18 per night to stay in a room that stinks with a bathroom that's disgusting. If there wasn't other tourists there who let me in and showed me to my room and helped me get my key, I would have had to sleep on the streets again. I advist for this hostel to just simply pay the wage of people to physically there in the hostel to help people check in.and I advise foe them to throw that self check in machine away

Good, honestly I have no reason to complain here. The place is nice, clean, and the staff are attentive, kind, and competent. I always leave with a good feeling.

It was okay. The cleanliness is not that great, it is very difficult to contact them (there is no receptionist). The location is good and the bed is comfortable

The location of Petit Hostel La Latina is good, and the hygiene is acceptable. The staff also have a good service attitude. However, on two occasions, my key card stopped working and needed to be re-activated. I asked the front desk if I needed to re-activate it before checking out, and they said no. Yet, the key card failed again. The room in this small hostel is tiny. The water for showering and washing stops automatically after a very short time, and there's nowhere to hang clothes.

Clean and good location. No towel but amenity shows towel include actually charge 2eur. No hair dryer but it shows on booking included too. Female room is underground with stairs so not convenient with big suitcase. Staff is not friendly like other places

Absolutely do not recommend. I'm not sure if the air conditioning wasn't working or if the room simply didn't have any, and there was no window for ventilation. The whole place felt stuffy and smelled awful. Someone in a wheelchair was staying in the hostel, and they were moving around in their wheelchair in the middle of the night. The hallway was very narrow, and they kept bumping into things. Why wouldn't they choose a hostel specifically equipped with facilities for disabled guests? I couldn't sleep a wink all night.
