Good hotel in Chamberi area. You can walk to Gran Via within 30-40 minutes. Good location and good service

The hotel is clean and in a nice location. Some noise can be heard from the street but sound insulation between rooms is good. I can confirm that one of the staff members working at the reception, an older man, is awful. He had one of the worst attitudes I’ve ever encountered. He actually sighed when we asked to store our luggage. Besides this, the hotel was generally quite good so I’m not sure why they’d allow this older man to allow the reputation of the hotel to continue to be tarnished. This is not a once off occurrence as I read the previous reviews before booking the room. Reviews frequently mention the staff at reception so I’m not sure why the hotel does nothing to improve the guest experience. At the end of the day we paid €250 for our stay and all staff should receive appropriate training. I just hope it wasn’t discrimination against **** or Chinese guests and it’s just the general bad attitude of the staff. Please actually improve on this going forward rather than make an empty promise that you’ll do something about it. We live in Spain, as do many of your other guests and it’s very easy to file a complaint with nondiscrimination offices in any Spanish city.

Throughout my stay, I had no issues whatsoever. The rooms are lovely and cleaned daily (you can hang a sign if you don't want daily service). The staff is also great.

Overall, the staff were very polite and even gave us detailed recommendations for nearby attractions and good eats, as well as explaining the free 001 bus route. However, the hotel's location is a bit far from the subway or bus station, requiring about a 10-15 minute walk, but it's still acceptable. The hotel itself is well-maintained and clean, though the elevator does shake a little, which was a bit scary.

Madrid's main attractions are quite concentrated. The hotel is within a couple of blocks of a metro station, so getting around isn't an issue. If you're a group of three, a taxi might be more cost-effective. The hotel is more on the budget-friendly and quick-stay side. The elevator is old, narrow, and tends to stutter, often pausing before coming to a complete stop. I hope the hotel can upgrade and improve this soon 😅. There are plenty of supermarkets and restaurants near the hotel. Madrid is a city that never sleeps; even at midnight, the streets are bustling with people. Although Madrid isn't as affluent as Barcelona, its main sights are grander, especially the museums, which are a must-see – they even have a replica of the Mona Lisa 😍. If you're planning a trip to Toledo, make sure to book your round-trip tickets in advance, as going last-minute might lead to transportation problems and disrupt your itinerary.

Absolutely no amenities provided in the room. You have to ask to the receptionist and even so, they don't give you the basic set at once. Male receptionist was not friendly at all, cold and inhospitable. Wasn't a pleasant experience. Room was pretty small but it wasn't an issue personally. Comfortable bed and spacious bathroom. Hot water ran 24/7. Room got cleaned everyday, but I notice it did get dusty. One of my personal belonging got damaged during cleaning but I didn't lodge a complaint. At 12-1 AM the garbage truck will come daily and it will be noisy if your room faces the street. Hotel allowed luggage storage. They will issue you a ticket to get your stuffs back. Location wise, it's a 10 mins walk to the Canal metro station that takes you to city center. No major shopping malls nearby, only small convenient stores and plenty of bars/diners.

Good value for money, rooms have a decent size. It’s good if you get a good deal. Metro is close by walking

Clean and comfort room. It was very convenient for who love shopping in Hongdae.

Hotel was a little older, could use a makeover but ameties were good and service was nice

The hotel was in a good neighbourhood a short walk from the Canal metro line so all the sites were quickly reached. Quite a few bars on the street near the hotel and reasonably priced. Our hotel room was great - v clean and good sized balcony to sit out on. Good breakfast selection. Good staff. Could do with a bar service in the reception but other than that an ideal base for exploring Madrid .

Good location for first time visitor. Clean and cosy room and easy access.
