Very good the location in Plaza Castilla with a Metro station that’s make easy to reach hotel from the airport and easy to go to downtown.
Room size is also good.
I didn’t try the breakfast because very close to the hotel there is a place where you can have cheap and good breakfast.
Only negative point is the toiletries, as not sufficient provided for an hotel 4 stars.

Hotel Exe Plaza is located near Madrid’s newest business area, towards the northern end of the city. From the hotel to the business area takes about 10 minutes by taxi - or 15 by public transportation - . One of the positive aspects of its location is they Plaza Castilla is a transportation hub with three metro lines and several buses terminal stations.
The hotel is very much business oriented, with comfortable bedrooms and a good wifi connection overall.
The most disappointing part is the gym, a small room with only a few machines and some of them broken, need to reserve in advance with the reception counter so they ensure it is not too crowded there.

The transportation is very convenient. There is McDonald's just downstairs and the subway entrance is on the left when you go out. It's not far from Chamartin train station, and a taxi will be there in a minute. There are convenience stores nearby.

This is my second time staying at this hotel. The last time was before the epidemic. There are many bakery and coffee shops around the subway entrance downstairs. There is also a Taco Bell that is countless times more delicious than in China. The suite is relatively large with a king size bed and 3+1 sofa. But there are no such small facilities as toothbrushes and slippers.

Very friendly at reception from the moment of arrival.
The room is very spacious and comfortable, with everything you need. Coincidentally, it was a smoking room, but it was well kept and there was no smell of cigarettes. That's why they let me go up to check it out to see if I was going to be comfortable.
