Wonderful location next to cathedral and art museum. Easy walk to shopping, restaurants and trains. Friendly staff and good breakfast buffet.

Für einen Kurztrip nach Magdeburg buchten wir erstmals ein Motel One Hotel. Da wir ungern beengt wohnen und uns die üblichen 16 m² deshalb nicht ausgereicht hätten, erwies sich die gewählte Kategorie „Special One“ mit einer Zimmergröße von 22 m² als genau passend und angenehm für uns. Die Lage des Hotels am Domplatz ist genauso optimal wie der gelungene Mix von modernem Interieur und der barocken Architektur des (Haupt-)Gebäudes. Das Frühstück war in Ordnung, aber die recht niedrigen Sitzgruppen, die zwar abends hervorragend für den Barbetrieb geeignet sind, empfanden wir morgens als unbequem. Wir waren deshalb froh, dass wir einen der Tische mit Hochstühlen am Fenster nutzen konnten. Das Servicepersonal war außerordentlich freundlich. Besonders in Erinnerung wird uns Herr Protz (Front Office) bleiben, der sich hervorragend um unser Wohl gekümmert hat. Ein dickes Dankeschön!

Wir waren nur für eine Nacht da. Waren sehr verwundert das das eine Zimmer im Erdgeschoss und das andere im 2. Stock war. Wir haben im anderen Motel one immer pro Zimmer eine Flasche Wasser bekommen - hier erst nach Nachfrage und Getuschl von zwei Angestellten. In einem Zimmer kamen dann nachts viele Spinnen raus - hier war das Personal schnell bei der Stelle um die Inversion zu beseitigen.

Nous avons eu une chambre dans le bâtiment neuf. Elle est petite et très fonctionnelle. Un petit fauteuil und une petite table. Pas de luxe, rien de superflu, seulement le nécessaire. La seule décoration sont deux coussins en plus sur le lit. Mais heureusement le lit est confortable et la chambre est propre. Surtout, le placement en plein centre am Domplatz est parfait. Le personnel à la réception, ou au restaurant est très accueillant et super gentil. La terrasse est bien aménagée.

Extrem zuvorkommendes und höfliches Personal am CheckIn, Zimmer sehr sauber, Lage sehr zentral und dennoch nicht sehr viele Aussengeräusche hörbar, man fühlt sich auf Anhieb wohl, da das gewohnte Motel One Flair Wiedererkennungswert hat :)

Man weiß was man bekommt. Spinnweben an der Decke sollten natürlich nicht vorkommen ansonsten wie immer ein sehr stilvoller Aufenthalt. Besonders schön das BioFrühstück. Auch die Rezeption war sehr freundlich. Als Fahrradreisender auch sehr zu empfehlen.
