Good price

This hotel is just next to Maibara. It is very convenient to go other parts of Lake Biwa. Its bed and pillows are comfortable. Just like other japan hotels, small challenges to open two 24" luggages. Breakfast is simple and nice. There are several types of rice balls to choose (love the fried chicken, egg, fried meat), miso soup, corn soup, healthy fruit juice, bread and coffee.

Poor breakfast selection... so cheap

The room was OK and clean, just like Toyoko. The hotel is close to the station and relatively quiet at night. There are many kinds of rice balls for breakfast. There is a good supermarket near the hotel with many things and they are cheap.

The only room available was a smoking room, but I wish they had provided an air purifier. In this day and age, smoking rooms are no longer necessary. Breakfast was limited to rice balls and salad, so I felt the service had declined.

Hygiene: Terrible Environment: Very poor, with nothing nearby, not even a convenience store. Facilities: Old and run-down, and it's been a while since renovations. Service: No service at all, it feels like you owe them money!

The breakfast is too bad, just a few kinds of rice balls, 2 kinds of bread, and drinks, the worst meal, nothing else. So the worst of the Toyoko chain

The hotel is 1 minute away from the train station, which is super convenient. The room is also slightly larger than in downtown Tokyo. The hotel is clean and tidy, breakfast is free, and the price/performance ratio is high. The only downside is that the train station is a Shinkansen stop, and there will be some noise when the high-speed train passes by.

The location is great, right in front of the station. However, there were few convenience stores within walking distance. (There was a drugstore and a supermarket, but I wasn't sure if they were open late at night.) The parking lot is multi-storey and a bit small. The room I stayed in didn't have a lock on the toilet.

The hotel is just at the west exit of Maibara Station, a 2-minute walk away. Although the room is not big, it is spacious enough for two people. The toilet and bathroom are inside the room, and you can take a bath in the bathroom. Breakfast is provided, and the rice balls and soup are very delicious.

The location was great and it was a hotel I would like to stay at again.
