The hotel has a beach with very fine sand, which the kids absolutely loved. The room was a bit small and definitely a little old. The main issue was the lack of dining options nearby; several restaurants across the street were closed. It's best if you have a car for convenience. It's close to Sea World, just a few hundred meters away, so we walked there.

The environment here is first-rate, and it's perfect for photos. The beach right across the street is incredibly convenient. However, perhaps because the natural environment is so good, there were a lot of ants in the room. We had to switch rooms in the middle of the night, which made for a very unpleasant stay.

Environment: The ambiance is great, and the hotel beach is private, requiring a key card for entry, which is really nice. Service: The staff are all very enthusiastic. Cleanliness: It was just okay. I'm not sure if it's because the place is a bit old, but it generally felt pretty average.

Not bad, but it had a bit of a musty smell. The pool was great though.

This hotel leaves me with mixed feelings. The room is 3-star, but the breakfast and pool are 5-star, and the service is 4-star. Walking into the lobby and breakfast area, I thought I was at a typical Sheraton beachfront resort. However, stepping into the room nearly made me collapse. The furniture and facilities were basic, rundown, and uncomfortable. Housekeeping was also subpar; the bathroom even leaked, and after showering, the room carpet was soaked. This definitely doesn't match the over 3000 AUD per night price tag. The breakfast and pool are indeed excellent and create a great resort vibe. Parking for self-drivers costs 65 AUD per night, which isn't expensive for Australia. I was so unimpressed with the hotel that I didn't even take a single photo. Main Beach is not far from the park where you can see wild kangaroos, and directly opposite is the Kokomo whale watching boat terminal. Sea World is also very close by.

This hotel probably had a glorious past, but now it feels like it's faded, except for its private beach. The shopping mall across the street is practically deserted, with many stores closed. It's located a bit far in, closer to Sea World. There isn't even free bottled water in the room; you have to buy their eco-friendly cup to get water from the hallway. We were given a room in an annex, far from the main area, with an incredibly long corridor that seemed endless. It took at least 10 minutes to walk from our room to the lobby every day. The room's facilities looked very old, and the shower faucet in the bathroom was rusted. There was only a bathtub, no separate shower space. The room we got also had a connecting inner door. The most ridiculous thing was when we returned one afternoon and ran into a cleaning staff member, a man who looked South American. He seemed very unhappy to see us and didn't greet us at all. When he turned on the vacuum cleaner, he rudely vacuumed aggressively towards my feet. All the hotel staff seemed aloof; they wouldn't even greet you when you encountered them. Only the staff in the breakfast restaurant were okay, but breakfast was mostly Western-style with limited options. I don't feel it was worth the price.

Always a pleasure staying at the Sheraton. We had a minor noise issue from the room next door, but the team went above and beyond to find us another room so we could fully enjoy our stay. A short 30-second walk to the beach is all it takes to be completely blown away. Perfect choice for small families and couples looking for a relaxing getaway.

Attended for a conference and this hotel is seriously impressive. Service was excellent - very friendly staff who all seem willing to help. The rooms are starting to look a little tired (marks on walls and bumps etc on cupboards) but overall it is a nice hotel. Food is good, especially the buffet breakfast. Layout makes it feel private but still with nice views or outlook from each room. If you want a great pool and beach access - this is the place to stay.

The hotel offers direct access to its own private beach, which is absolutely stunning and wonderfully uncrowded. The rooms are spacious and spotless, and the service is top-notch. While the breakfast selection isn't extensive, everything on offer is delicious. This has to be one of the best hotels on the Gold Coast.

A very satisfying experience. The environment was excellent, the facilities were well-appointed, and there's even a swimming pool. Despite it being winter, my child couldn't resist taking a swim and had a fantastic time!

The room was spacious and offered a pleasant garden view. The large bathtub was perfect for a relaxing soak after a long day. Since it was winter during our stay, we didn't get to use the hotel's swimming pool. The greatest advantage was its close proximity to a very clean beach, which felt safe due to the presence of lifeguards. Breakfast was excellent, offering a wide selection beyond Western dishes, including fried rice, plain rice, and miso soup. The yogurt was particularly good, and they even had gluten-free bread and pastries, plus a fresh fruit and vegetable juice station. It truly catered to all palates. Our bill had an error at check-out, but it was promptly corrected. The concierge staff was helpful with our luggage. The room lacked soundproofing, as we could hear people walking and talking in the corridor. However, it didn't significantly disturb our rest overall.

We had booked 3 rooms for our family vacay.Room smelt like the 60s and staff weren’t friendly some were rude, and some were good. Pool was old and falling apart kids enjoyed the beach more which was a plus side how close it was .

Initially, I had some reservations about this hotel, but it turned out to be the perfect place. Its beachfront location means you can enjoy spectacular sunrise views, and the beach itself is absolutely gorgeous – a true golden stretch of sand. After staying here, I felt there was no need to explore any other beaches. You won't be disappointed.
