Hotels near Sagara Beach in Makinohara

We were looking for functional accommodation between Kyoto and Tokyo in a non-touristic area without high expectations and we were very pleasantly surprised by what we found. Nice hotel, pleasant staff. There is an onsen in the hotel included in the price. good breakfast Plenty of parking near the hotel, quiet city.

The location is very good, and the surrounding environment is also good. Hygiene and clean, the quilt is too thick, not close to the body, not very comfortable.

Shizuoka Airport is five kilometers away because the flight cancels the temporary reservation. The medium room, said to be two people, is actually a single room, of course, the bed is 1.5 meters. Unless you can say good to the front desk, don't let it live. One big one can live, and the two adults feel a little small. There are a lot of supermarkets and drugstores in the 10 minutes walk, as well as McDonald's and ramen shops.

Stayed in August 2019. Business hotel located 5 minutes walk from the north exit of JR kakegawa station where the Shinkansen stops. The appearance and the room are clean and clean. There is no private parking lot, so you need to use the nearby coin parking. It is very beautiful to see Kakegawa Castle, which is lit up from the front of the hotel. However, I was able to relax a little after one came out, so I think it was better than taking a room bath. I ate the breakfast buffet for the first time, but it was renovated and beautiful, and I think the price was good for 700 yen, but the chair is a stool on a counter table like McDonald's, so it's good for a light meal. But it's not like enjoying the buffet slowly. Also, I was happy that there was a homemade pudding made in a small bottle, but I couldn't eat all the bottom because there was no small spoon for dessert (laughs). The set may be better. Also, it is a negative point for me that the windows in the room are not open. In conclusion, although the room rate is cheap, is it a large communal bath of the population hot spring? With! ?? There is a drink service and there is no discomfort in the hotel itself, so I don't think the overall evaluation is bad, but it is still a difficulty that it is quite far from the station. Since Ichiou is a population hot spring, I felt that the satisfaction would be better if I paid 500 yen per person for 45 minutes by charter reservation system (in that case, I would like to have a morning at a nice cafe in Hitoshuku Town even if it is far away, so stay again I want to do it.

I stayed at the Dormy Inn for 3 nights during the rugby World Cup. First let me state that there is very little to do in Kakegawa apart from visiting the castle, so if you are heading here as a tourist there are probably better places to stay. Back to the hotel ! I arrived a little early (around 12) and my room was not available , so I had to leave my bags in reception and wait until around 3pm to get my key. There was no issue with the language barrier. The hotel is not far from the station with a 10 minute walk along the main road getting you there. The room itself was average size for Japan, but the outlook from the window was pretty bleak onto a back alley. However, it was clean and comfortable there were no issues with the exception of the pillows which were rock hard. All amenities were available in the room although the sink being in the bedroom rather than the shower area was a little strange. The Wi-fi was perfect, but dont look for any English language station on the TV as there was none. In terms of restaurant, there is one for breakfast with a reasonable selection of both Western and Japanese food. I never saw it open during the day or evening. However, as a bonus it does open up around 9.30 in the evening with free ramen noodles for the hungry. Coffee is always available on demand in the foyer which is another good point. On top of the hotel is a typical Japanese thermal bath...great for the aches after a busy day ! All in all a good hotel for the price.....

Nice family hotel and centrally located opposite the train station with many restaurants choices. Checkin was a breeze and room was clean and spacious. Breakfast that came with the hotel stay was excellent with many choices and sufficient refills. Carpark was chargeable at 1200y per night at the next building and walking to carpark can be cumbersome for some during bad weather. Highly recommended place for those looking for accommodation in this part of the city or exploring the city.

　Recently, there is a tournament in Shimada in the １２ month １ week, and I often use １ｰ２ｰ３. I like a quiet environment with nothing around. Sometimes the venue for the social gathering is a little far east of the station, but it's great for me to come back while taking a walk. After all, curry and rice for breakfast is the most fun! !! This time as expected delicious! !! But I felt like I had bread before, but I was a little lonely. Also, I thought that the large communal bath would burn the hot water (^ o ^) that I thought it would be like this.
