The room was not clean.
It lacked basic amenities such as soap, cups, and other items that were listed as included in the booking.
The phone number registered with the reservation was not working. I needed to contact the hotel before traveling to inquire about parking availability and other matters, but the mobile number was not reachable. Even three days before arrival and while I was already on the road, the phone number was still not working.
Some services that were stated as available in the booking description were not provided, for example:
- Free shuttle service to Al-Haram – not available
- Staff described as helpful – no assistance was provided during the stay when inquiries were made
- Parking – not available
- The prayer mat was worn out, unclean, and had visible stains.
Before my arrival, I attempted to contact the hotel to arrange an additional baby cot/child bed, but the phone number was not working. Upon arrival, the reception staff informed me that no baby bed was available.
The only positive point is the hotel’s proximity to the Haram bus station at Mahbas Al-Jinn.
