Difficult to explain this hotel. The room is nice but that’s about it, I’ll give a review based on what I would’ve liked to know before I went.
Location - it’s reallly far away from the haram. It takes exactly 20 mins to get to the boundary of the haram but to get to a place where you can pray inside the masjid takes altogether 30-40 minutes depending where you want to go. For example, going to the roof will take you a total of 38 minutes.
There is a shuttle bus but it takes you only to the boundary from which point it will still take you another 15-20 minutes at least. The shuttle bus is not specific to this hotel it picks up other hotel passengers nearby and in many occasions I raced against it and I got to the boundary quicker than it.
Taking shuttle bus back takes 15-17 minutes because if goes all the way around, if you can deffo better to walk but it gets tiring. Going to Fajr coming back, zuhr coming back and then from asr to osha in the masjid I did total of average 7 miles a day.
Amenities - you get nothing in this hotel, no toilet tissue, no towel, no water nothing. You can ask but in all honesty you won’t get it unless u ask a few times in a row and maybe you’ll get one thing.
Cleanliness- to be honest it is clean nothing to say on this point, room was clean and lobby is usually clean.
Overall, i did get what i paid for, but i would not stay again, it’s just toooo far. Yes I saved a lot of money but was it worth the hassle? I’d say no. Also your in Gaza district which is basically the complete opposite side to clock tower it’s on the side of safa marwah so if you want to go to the main side, this is not the hotel for you.
Look at ajyad or ibrahim khalil road, much much better located hotels.
Don’t get fooled with a ‘shuttle bus’ it takes u nowhere near the hara
