The room was very large, with a separate living area and a kitchenette. It felt more like a serviced apartment than a standard hotel room, which was great for spreading out our luggage. The bed was comfortable, and the air conditioning worked perfectly.

Swiss Garden Hotel Melaka is a wonderful place for a relaxing getaway. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable, with a beautiful view of the city and river. The location is superb — close to popular attractions, shopping areas and great food spots. The staff are friendly, helpful and always ready to assist. The facilities, especially the pool and breakfast, are enjoyable and perfect for families. Overall, a pleasant and satisfying stay. Highly recommended!

Overall, I had an excellent stay at Swiss-Garden Hotel Melaka. The rooms were comfortable, the service was friendly, and the location was convenient. However, I do feel that some important facilities could use improvement. I used the dobi service, but the laundry was only returned the next day instead of the same day. As this service is directly managed by the hotel, I believe it should be more efficient and same-day delivery would be much better for guests. The sauna was closed and not functioning, which was disappointing. The swimming pool area also needs better cleanliness and maintenance to match the otherwise high standard of the hotel. On the positive side, the food was excellent. I especially recommend the Laksa Nyonya, which was rich, flavourful, and a real highlight of the dining experience. For Muslim travellers, the best part is that there’s a surau nearby (walking distance) at Kampung Morten. The villagers are very friendly, and I was even invited to join a dinner organised by the surau community — a truly memorable and heartwarming experience. The mall below the hotel felt rather quiet and had a low crowd, so it wasn’t as happening as expected. Despite these issues, I would still recommend Swiss-Garden Hotel Melaka for its overall quality and great food. With some attention to facility upkeep and service timing, it could be outstanding.

Clean and decent hotel. Although dated furnitures but well kept. Had an enjoyable stay. Breakfast could use abit more variety.

I had a wonderful stay at Swiss Garden Hotel! The staff were friendly and welcoming. The location is very strategic — just about 15-20mins walk to the Red House, Jonker Street, and the riverside, where you can find plenty of nice bars, local food, and spots to explore. The free private parking was a big plus, especially for those driving in. Highly recommended for travelers looking for a relaxing and hassle-free holiday — a perfect place to chill and enjoy Melaka at your own pace.

Stayed at Swiss Garden Hotel Melaka — great location and very convenient for exploring the city. Check-in was smooth and the staff were friendly. Did not take the breakfast package this time, so unable to comment on the food. Overall, a comfortable and pleasant stay.

Best value for money. Fantastic bkfast . Only issue is the shopping mall pretty dead n far from other shopping area. View from hotel was nice though. Especially the sky terrace

The hotel location is near the Shore Shopping Mall, which is a dead town, unfortunately. Pricing wise for the hotel room is reasonable. Comes with complimentary parking on the 7th floor or on the 3rd floor with 10 RM per stay, which is very affordable for those who drive. The room is spacious and comes with basic amenities. However, the room is not sound proof, can easily hear the outside noises very clearly. Hence, we didn't sleep peacefully throughout the 3 nights. Hotel should also provide bath towels & other amenities + mineral water based on 3 pax as per my booking, though it is a deluxe twin bed room. In the end, everything is provided for 2 pax only. I have requested a room away from the lift, but in the end, I was given one right in front of the lift. The hotel is quite outdated overall, the bathtub shower is leaking, the wallpaper on the toilet has a small torn, and it can be seen from the living room easily. The hotel access card didn't work on the second day, though I have yet to check out. The wifi is good and well connected, and the check-in and check out process is seamless. There is nothing to comment on the breakfast spread as my booking didn't include meals. Hope the hotel can do a revamp to improve its overall facilities going forward.
