Imperial Heritage Hotel Melaka I City Centre

Overall stay was good due to location and reception staff. My experience was mixed bag as 1. Initial room was normal triple share- room was musky smell, aircon not cool, housekeeping did badly poor job as it was dirty. 2. Had to wash cups again till one slipped and broke whrby I had to pay for the damaged cup. This was whr my experience became much more pleasant as reception was tentative to the issues and was given free upgrade to jr suite. All was good except for minor details like door knob installation, low water pressure on common bathroom. This room types is a winner if you are coming over 3-4 pax. Another issue was aircon control as no backlight. Hope management will perform refurbishment to their units and upkeep up to date to stay competitive.

Location is perfect. Breakfast ok with a limited protein sources. Room is spacious with a normal services.

Overall, the stay was disappointing due to the poor upkeep, cleanliness, and dining experience. Upon check-in, someone’s used plates were left stacked outside our room and remained there throughout our entire stay until the day we checked out, which reflected very poorly on housekeeping and overall service standards. The room, especially the bathroom, was poorly maintained. The sink and shower areas had deteriorating sealant, visible stains, damaged grout, and an overall worn-out appearance that did not meet expected hotel standards. On top of that, the lighting in both the room and bathroom was extremely dim — so poor that it was difficult to even properly see your face in the mirror. The high tea experience was equally disappointing and honestly one of the most pathetic spreads encountered. There were only about 4 to 5 items available, with very limited variety and poor presentation. It felt poorly prepared and far from what would normally be expected from a hotel high tea experience. The only plus was the location to the main town and mall was very accessible. Unfortunately, the overall stay felt neglected, poorly managed, and lacking attention to detail.

The hotel location is good and the staff were helpful. We also received tea snacks, which was a nice touch. However, I had to change rooms three times because of air conditioning problems.

The hotel location are strategic because it's in the midst of Malacca town, in front the hotel arw Dataran Pahlawan mall. Customers can just walks if going to tourists places because it's very near. A lot of parking spaces including they have the basement parking and open space parking. The room are nice, like a studio version. An affordable price! Very cooling aircond, nice view from level 5. The cons: 1. Electric stove but no necessary utensils. Preferably microwave that much easier to use. Will I come again? Hopefully will.

Great location and helpful staff, Return customers. But poor WiFi connection if you stay in high floor
