We have just spent a truly wonderful 10 days at Eriyadu 🏝️🏝️🏝️ All the staff are fantastic - whether it be the reception, the bar, the restaurant, the room service or the grounds keepers …. they are all super efficient, super friendly and super polite. The house reef surrounds the island and whether novice snorklers like us or experienced divers there was something for everyone - with its own dive school with specialist diving excursions. We saw so many wonderful fish … and turtles too !! 🐢🐢 The island is only a 45 minute boat trip from Male airport and Eriyadu has its own speedboats to shuttle guests to and from the airport. This is perhaps an older resort and some reviews may say the rooms are a little tired - the rooms are perhaps a little dated - but the bed is big and very comfortable, air conditioning is great, there is plenty of storage, bathroom is big we had double sinks bath/shower plus a separate shower open to the skies above, a great terrace, walk out terrace to soft sand and the beach, and even a separate outside door direct to the bathroom with outside tap to rinse the sand off your feet before going in. This place is barefoot living and takes relaxed to a whole new level - for sure it doesn’t have the rooms on stilts or plunge pools and slides to the sea - but what it does have in genuine character makes up for that and is an absolute gem.

incredibly gorgeous, simple. The island is 50 mins by speedboat from Male airport. (The airport is on the water) Excellent service begins from the second you arrive. The rooms are comfy and air-conditioned and is closer to 3 star plus than 4 star - but the food service and everything else is definitely 4 star PLUS. There s nothing to do but relax. Basic waterspouts (snorkelling & kayaking) is included with AI deals. All food basic drinks and snacks are also included. Everything is provided to make your stay comfortable. There's even some evening entertainment , simple fun stuff. Great for relaxing - not much to do for kids and therefore- very few kids!

A wonderful resort. The sand is soft and the crystal clear turquoise sea is warm and irresistible. Our villa (215), was spacious, lovely hot shower, great air con, comfy bed and tea/coffee and water constantly replenished. It opened straight onto the beach. Friendly, helpful staff, delicious food and everything was spotlessly clean. An excellent atmosphere in The Blitz bar of an evening. A good range of drinks if you're All inclusive, but check first before ordering. The staff went the extra mile for my wife's birthday. A perfect week. Thank you.

We stayed as a couple and had a totally relaxing time, food was lovely, snorkeling amazing and just such a beautiful place to stay. We met lovely people and it felt very friendly. As others have said the rooms need an overhaul..we had laminate floor which was water damaged and easy to stub your toes on...but the beds are huge and sooo comfortable and always clean. Outdoor bathroom was fabulous..something a bit different. View from our room 221 stunning. We would absolutely come back and would like to thank the staff for their friendliness and efficiency. We had a wonderful holiday and were sad to leave....

Eriyadu Island Resort was everything we hoped it would be. We had an overnight flight in and were met at the airport by the Eriyadu team who took us to our speed boat and we were on the water in less than 30 minutes, we did meet people who had to wait a couple of hours though. The speedboat took just under an hour across bright blue sea, we were given a bottle of water each on the boat for the journey. We arrived at the jetty to a friendly welcome from reception staff and porters. We were taken to reception for a cold drink and a cold towel. Check-in was super fast and hassle free, the porters took us to our room (221) and the bags arrived minutes later. The room had a huge bed plus a single bed that a child could have used, a wardrobe, drawers, a desk and a fridge plus a couple of comfy chairs. Outside had two wooden chairs a table on the deck and two wooden sunbeds with mattresses and hanging rack for wet kit to dry. We had direct access to the beach shared with 220 through privacy provided by palm trees. I would suggest that 211 - 225 all had similar and if I was returning I would request a room in that group. The air conditioned room was cleaned twice a day, which sounds excessive but with all the sand it was a good idea. Towels and bedding changed every other day. The bathroom is not airconditioned because the shower is open air. This was a great experience, showering with the sun on your back. We had the All Inclusive Platinum deal (there are three all inclusive levels so check this out before you book and choose the one that suits you). This included a mini bar of soft drinks and beer in the room. I asked for the beer to be changed from Carlsberg to Saigon on day one and that was done for the next 10 days. The Platinum deal included premium bottled beers (Peroni, Estrella, Corona and Saigon in cans), the basic all inclusive was just draft Carlsberg. The cocktails were also significantly better on the Platinum deal as were branded spirits and better wine. One day we had a bottle of sparkling wine delivered to out room too. The food was delicious. Some people complained that it was too spicy and they weren't used to that but we really enjoyed it. The restaurant got very hot though. Nobody dresses up for dinner and you certainly won't need any shoes, everybody was in flip flops or barefoot even in the restaurant. I especially enjoyed beetroot curry and the fish curries. We missed breakfast most days and had a late breakfast of coffee and croissants in the main bar, the coffee was much better in the bar. The Platinum deal had a range of fruit juices and smoothies included which we also had with breakfast. We met a vegan lady and the chef went out of his way to make sure he catered for her. We snorkeled on the house reef nearly every day. the snorkeling equipment was free for the duration of our stay from the dive centre. We saw an array of bright fish, sharks ranging from small black tipped reef sharks to so

This place has beautiful views which is what you look for in maldives, the sea is stunning but apart from this, I unfortunately would not recommend this hotel. The “all inclusive” option is extremely limited, there is a number of options you can’t get access to and I understand this is quite common in a lot of hotels but the limitations are quite a lot, to the point of not being able to get iced coffee.. We decided to upgrade to all inclusive plus to get more drinks but then when we tried to order a drink from the upgraded menu at the bar near the pool (which is the place you’d rather be at as people like to have a drink by the beach) we then got told “oh sorry this drink is only available at the other bar”.. I’ve never been told this at any hotel so it’s disappointing especially in a place like maldives. The food is also ok, nothing special. My partner told them it was my birthday and they came up to me to say “when you’ve finished your main meal let us know and we’ll bring your cake” this totally ruined any form of surprise element The staff overall however are very welcoming here but things overall could be improved quite significantly

What can I say this place lived up to everything I was expecting from the Maldives. The island is small, the people who work here are so friendly & helpful nothing was too much trouble. It’s very relaxed, I didn’t wear shoes just flip flops for the entire week or bare feet. The food was great (lots of curries!) . We stayed in the deluxe beach front villa and it was perfect, cleaned twice a day (very much appreciated with all the sand we brought in) bed was comfortable & great bathroom especially the outdoor shower. We hired the snorkel for the week (free) and its excellent equipment the staff here are very helpful. From check in to check out everything was taken care of. The memories, scenery, snorkelling will stay with us for a very long time. It’s not a 5* resort but it certainly will not disappoint. I couldn’t ask for anything more from the Maldives and will definitely be returning to Eriyadu Resort and would very much recommend it to anyone!!

Dates 30/06/23 to 14/07/23, but had to leave due to condition of rooms and how we were treated, lies by staff. Just don't!!! ... You will get far better quality and service for just a little more money, yes they have white sand and sea but so does everyone else in the Maldives and they will give you far far more. My wife and I booked via Bluebay travel who advertise the resort as having "Deluxe Beach Villas which they claim "Delivers high end quality throughout"... Nothing could be further from the truth. They are not "Deluxe" nor "high end" and this false advertising should cease immediately. I will be taking this up with ABTA. I have seen a selection of these rooms and they range from substandard to very substandard and corroborated by a number of other reviews, tired, worn, basic etc. Bluebay also advertise at 4.5 stars on their site, yet staff and even the General manager in resort say they are not.. they say they are 3 to 3. 5 max. and have never claimed to be 4 or 4.5 star. Bluebay also state they advertise the quality of resorts by taking in good faith what the resort tells them so it appears no quailty checks. But it gets worse.. Arrived at Male airport, 0730hrs, won't bore you with the full details, not met by rep as promised, eventually met and had to wait until 1010hrs in airport for fast boat transfer 45 to 50min (Eriyadu's boat compared to others is extremely loud approx. 80 - 110 decabels so I advise putting headphones or other ear protection) On arrival met and allocated a room 212. Told would be ready in 2hrs. After 2hrs told we couldn't get 212 as a family already holidaying in the resort were having a late check out, we would get 210 for 24 to 48 hrs as it was Eid, local holiday, resort was full no other rooms. On being shown 210, it was a disaster.. Very, very poor standard, extremely tired, worn, holes around light fittings, electrical fittings not sealed properly, doors don't fit different coloured paint on walls to cover up marks, an old sweat / water stained lounger cushion and much more. Out look blocked by bushes leaving a view of black and green algae covered sand bags with a small slice of the sea and a crumbling concrete pier. We then see the " Late check out Family", (who are possibly Indian / Malaysian origin) in 212 which is a slightly and I say slightly better standard than 210, we immediately recognised them as having travelled with us to the resort that morning and had just arrived same as ourselves, so a complete lie by staff.. Staff then tell us the family are relatives of the owner/ directors, (later corroborated by the general manager) so preferential treatment for them. We complain we will not accept 210 due to its condition and circumstances. OK we'll move "the family" to another room you can have 212 now.. But they have been in it, it will need to be cleaned!! .. OK we'll put you in 221 which is available.. So much for being full, another lie! (221 has partly rotten floor, laminated that been bad
