This was our first visit to the Maldives, and Kihavah, and it certainly won't be the last! we have never been anywhere with such an amazing mix of quality, laid back atmosphere, attentive service without being in your face. It was so relaxing from the moment we arrived, hardly wearing footwear for the whole trip, yet eating phenomenal food, with excellent service. The team really do make the experience what it is. Everyone is lovely and friendly, but very good at what they do also. We had the time of our lives, thank you Maurice and the team for making this such a special place.

We’ve been to the Maldives a few times. What stands out at Anantara Kihavah for me is the absolutely amazing house reef, easily accessible from our beach villa, and the food, particularly at Spice, and at the incredible underwater restaurant, Sea. My husband and kids enjoyed the boxing training, whilst I steered well clear of the gym and enjoyed snorkeling in peace! All of the staff were so friendly and helpful, particular thanks to Harnie, our villa host, Sheila, the boxing coach, Executive Chef Joachim who would always stop by for a chat (he has been on some fascinating travels!), the team at the Kids Club and Maria who took both our children out diving, giving them the best time!

I usually dont write reviews (even though I read a lot of them), but I felt like I needed to let one for the amazing experience I had at Kihavah! Its not an easy travel from Brazil, definitely not a cheap one, either, but it worth every effort we put into it and I would definitely go back there a thousand times. Went there with my wife and my almost 3-year-old kid and we loved pretty much everything: the restaurants, the activities, the pool, the breakfast, the underwater restaurant (my kid loved it), the stargazing experience, and all the attention you put to the small details! We literally felt like home there and, with that regard, I must thank Azmeen big time, for everything he made for us during our stay! Thank you guys so much for the lovely memories you provided for me and my family.

There is no limitless adjective able to actually describe the experience. Location, facilities, service, nature, leisure activities, dining, all just absolutely stunning...and it was not the first time in the Maldives. This place beats all of the highest expectations with the reef just at a stone's throw from your overwater villa. A particular mention to our caring & attentive villa host Jambe, to the fantastic world traveller chef Joachim, and to the F&B manager Arun, champion of dining events. An unforgettable experience! We stayed in beautiful villa with incredible coral reefs teeming with fish. The Maldives can be challenging for finding a variety of delicious restaurants, but this resort excelled, especially with its Asian cuisine. A huge thank you to our butler, Piyal, who made our holiday truly special. His attentiveness to detail and willingness to go the extra mile were outstanding. We highly recommend this resort!

After many visits to the Maldives, this was by far the best! From the moment we arrived right through to leaving, everything was perfect. When the sea plane landed at the island, and after a short boat ride to the jetty, we were welcomed by the resort manager Maurice, our villa host Harnie, as well as other staff members with Maldivian drums, coconut drinks, and a brief tour of the island/facilities on our way to our water villa. At that point we knew we were in good hands. We stayed in an over-water villa, which was lovely, our own private pool and sun deck with amazing views across the lagoon out across the reef. The reef and marine life, around the island is second to none, we would recommend taking up the snorkelling and diving opportunities, as these should not be missed. We were also impressed with the work the team are doing in caring for, preserving and re-generating the reef. One of the stand-out aspects of the resort is the food - we tried all restaurants including Plates, Manzaru, Spice, Fire and Sea, and without exception each exceeded expectation. The executive chef Joachim and his team produce superb dishes and delights from cuisines around the world. The Asian buffet and fine-dining in the Sea restaurant were particular highlights. The observatory is also a "must-do" experience, looking at the stars and planets through the telescope with expert guidance was a magical evening. We also loved the Sky bar, especially for the sun-sets. Our over-riding memory of Kihavah will undoubtedly be the staff, who made us feel so welcome where nothing was too much trouble.
