10/10 . The most nicer guest house I have ever visited. Staff are very friendly, the receptionist are always there and they go beyond and above their duties. The Hotel rooms are clean, basic but the environment is so pleasant the garden is very relaxing with a beautiful vibes
I would recommande their trip packages the trip crew are fantastic, very very friendly.
For people who want to relax that is the perfect place to stay

I had their freshly catch of the day fish and fresh octopus sizzling it’s one of the rare restaurants that offered fresh sea food the atmosphere is nice and pricing 200 mvr for fish and 230 for sizziling octopus we enjoyed this more then the candel dinner kani beach offer at beach because their is not fresh what’s point of being in an island and getting frozen fish

I have stayed in Stingray Beach Inn for 11 days of my vacation in the Maldives, island of Maafushi. It is a cute little hotel with a beautiful garden in the shades of tall palm trees. The food is just delicious, they offer asian cuisine, but the pizza is also great. Have to say they are vegeterian/vegan friendly. I recommend fruit juices made from fresh fruit, but also specialties on a hot iron plate (sizzling). Even if you are not staying in the hotel, you should definitely eat here at least once!. The service is a bit slow, but it is worth waiting. The rooms are modest, but clean and very cute, with air conditioning and fans. The staff is excellent and professional, lead by the kind manager Mr Ibrahim. If you want a relaxed and authentic experience of the Maldives, out of the resorts and fancy hotels that you may find anywhere, this is the place for you. If I come to Maafushi next time, I do not have to think where I will be staying. Stingray, definitely!

We had two of their vegeterian options for dinner- Penne pasta and Mushroom curry. The food was good but it was highly overpriced and portions were extremely small. The hospitality of the property owners was pathetic- they refused to take a 20$ bill that i had with me at the time citing that it had a small cut just because it was in my pocket and sweat might have played a part. Their adamancy and inflexibility is something they seem to be very proud of. Needless to say I wont be visiting this place again nor recomending this place to anyone.

The hotel is a small place with a nice terrace for breakfast, full of palms and trees (also mosquito at night) however you have to spend more than 1 hour for they to serve you the breakfast. We tolk with the manager to tell that we want breakfast early in the morning because we have to make the excursions early and the don't care, the breakfast start at 7.00, but at 7.00 there were nobody in the kitchen so we lost our breakfast and we went to the excursion without breakfast, so sad. The wifi it doesn't work properly. The bed is huge but too hard the mattress, the bathroom needs reform.

We were at the door wondering whether to have dinner and we left because the waiter hit a very small kitten. Unacceptable to us the truth. The truth is very strong and we lost our desire for everything. Because you shouldn't treat a living being like that

Ik heb er even over na moeten denken hoe ik deze recensie zo eerlijk mogelijk kan schrijven.. Snap eerlijk gezegd niet waar al deze positieve recenties vandaan komen. Misschien van pre-COVID. Mijn persoonlijke mening heb ik al weer gegeven door middel van de "punten". Maar de ene reiziger hun verwachting is anders dan de andere. Het positieve is dat het personeel vriendelijk is.. het ontbijt verzorgt door de buurman (Triton Beach) is voor de Maldiven gemiddeld: 2 soorten ei, 2 soorten brood, 2 soorten fruit, boter, 1 soort jam, kip curry, rijst en gebakken aardappel.. De opzet van Stingray kan bij een goede bedrijfsvoering super leuk zijn. helaas faalt het compleet door alles wat er mis is. Minpunten · het hotel heeft duidelijk al een tijdje geen onderhoudt gehad. maar dat is geen excuus in mijn ogen voor slechte hygiëne. - hygiene is hier ver te zoeken. kamers waren vies. lakens & handdoeken vol vlekken, badkamer & muren vol vlekken en haren. vermoed plas achter de wc. bijv de haren en de vlekken de wastafel & wc bij aankomst.. deze zaten er 3 dagen later bij uitchecken nog. - stopcontacten hangen gevaarlijk uit de muur.. in 1 zat zelfs nog een stuk van een stekker. ander uithangend stopcontact zit 70cm van je douche kop.. gewoon gevaarlijk! - het jacuzzi’s water is groen - geen warm water. lauw op zijn best - als gasten op het dakterras zitten kijken ze rechtstreeks je badkamer in bij een aantal kamers. (= geen privacy) - kamers liggen rond het openbare café/restaurant. deuren missen zelfs stukken. dus al het geluid hoor je zeer goed in je kamer. je kan de gesprekken gewoon vanuit je bed volgen. - dak is van ijzer/aluminium.. zonder merkbare isolatie. dus bij een tropische regenbui galmt en knalt het in je kamer Ik heb de resterende dagen op Maafushi dan ook snel een ander hotel opgezocht...
