Ufa Escape

We stayed in UFA ESCAPE for 5D4N. Although the room was not big but it was very cozy, and the shower was the highlight of the room. This place is extremely safe. We spent the whole day at the beach and sandbank, but we forgot to lock the door two times. However, all our things were still inside the room, and nothing had been taken or changed. The cuisine was delicious, from breakfast to dinner, and every day we had different options, including some Maldivian style dishes. This is not common in other guesthouses or restaurants in Dhigurah, as most of them only provide western-style food. During our travel period, it was fasting time, so we weren't able to see Hoodh’s performance at nighttime. However, that wasn't a bad thing because it gave us a reason to come back to UFA ESCAPE someday. Ahmed, Hoodh's father, was very nice. He met us at the Velana International airport and helped us take the domestic flight to Dhigurah. He shared everything we needed to know about their lives in the Maldives, including their plans to expand the guesthouse. Hoodh, Ahmed's son, is a handsome and very polite man. We are grateful to him for arranging everything for us. He even helped us bargain for a very good price to hire a private speedboat from Dhigurah to our next destination resort. Unfortunately, we weren't able to join the whale shark exclusion with Hoodh this time, which is another reason for us to visit Dhigurah again in the future. Finally, we need to appreciate all the staff at UFA ESCAPE who helped us in making an unforgettable memory on our anniversary. Thank you! FYI, I always used the WhatsApp message to communicate with Hoodh before we arrived the island.

hoodh jihad and jakir made the stay wonderful the room was a bit compact but the bathroom made up for that. open roof style bathroom you will love. room was absolutely secured we never locked the room. you will never get bored at ufa every evening hoodh and his father arranged singing and karaoke. in this island after dark there is very little to do but at ufa escape you don’t have to worry about that.the food was top notch always try to get full board package cause the food at ufa escape is the best on island. bring mosquito repellent.big problem for the island.should be addressed by the authorities of maldives. if you want to visit maldives on a budget don’t look further.

My friend and I stayed at Ufa Escape for 6 nights, when we arrived we had a very friendly welcoming with coconuts. Our accommodation was very clean and even though the shower was open there didn’t come any animals to visit. Everyday we were able to choose our Dinner out of 5 possibilities we could also choose the time. The Island Dhigurah is very beautiful and you can find a lot of nature there, the best thing about the Island is the long white beach and sandbank at the end! You can walk there within 40 minutes through the jungle in the middle of the island or you can take a shuttle, organized from the host. Close to the guesthouse like a few minutes away you can find some souvenir shops as well as some small supermarkets. Our Host was very caring, he helped us to organize our trips and reacted very flexible if any problems occurred. He wanted to give us the best experience possible of the Maldives. We also loved the karaoke nights, we had a lot of fun even though we can‘t sing! The only issue we had was before our stay at the guesthouse. The communication was a little bit difficult to organize a shuttle boat from male to dhigurah, but the problem was solved quickly an we had a boat at our arrival. We would recommend the snorkeling tour and whaleshark tour with ocenholic, we were able to see one and some Manta rays and a few little sharks and lots of fishes as well. If you want to experience a low budget stay, with an open, personal contact with the host you will habe a great time at ufa escape. We hope to come back one day!

My wife and I just spent a week in Dhigurah and we had a great time. Hoodh was extremely helpful and arranged all the activities for us. The guesthouse was very reasonably priced and so were the activities and transfer to and from the airport 👍 Thank you!

This hotel is a small guest house on a beautiful island about two hours away from Male. It is clean and the staff are very friendly, the restaurant provides good food, and the owner plays his guitar most nights. The island itself is quite small and quiet, and the evening entertainment is a draw for other tourists staying elsewhere on the island. I would strongly recommend staying at this lovely guesthouse.

Dhigurah and ufa escape is a little gem in the maldives. Our host hood delighted us with his guitar he is full of talent. Karaoke evenings are well organised. Dhigurah is a jewel where you can swim with whale sharks, rays and fish of all kinds. The meals served by our dear friend and his other friend and laxman and the cooks who delighted our taste buds. Thank you from the heart. Dhigurah has kept a piece of our heart, and the splendid beaches❤️❤️❤️❤️

I spent 15 days in dhigurah with my girlfriend and a couple of Friends and It was great experience. The structure Is very cozy with simple but comfortable rooms (shower Is great). The staff Is very nice and kind. Hood and his father are greating and Always happy to accomodate each guest needs. Highly recommended
