DISAPPOINTED - where do I start: Transfer guy turned up 30 minutes late Ripped and stained towels. Chipped crockery A third of the menu was unavailable (no gluten free) Dirty table cloths Dusty ornaments and glasses on display Resident cockroach in our toilet and out by the kitchen Steve in reception was not the most helpful of people (reading his diary whilst in the middle of a discussion) Seating areas were dark and the amount of furniture needs to be reduced. It was grubby, old or some even broken. 1 Dressing gown instead of 2 which has seen better days (faded and grubby) Broken lamp in room No condiments although kettle provided Empty mini bar and when switched on it just froze everything The only good thing about this place was Mombasa who seemed to have a variety of roles from Waiter, handy man and porter amongst others.

African house è un angolo di paradiso. Ogni oggetto e piccolo dettaglio sono perfetti e rispecchiano il gusto e lo stile della padrona di casa. Lo staff è sorridente, disponibile e sempre pronto a soddisfare ogni richiesta dei propri ospiti che vengono considerati persone di famiglia. Appena si entra nel lussureggiante giardino sembra di essere teletrasportati sul set del film "la mia Africa", un sogno. Cosa dire di Giovanna la padrona di casa, solo parole meravigliose, una donna bella e di classe che guida tutto con grande professionalità e maestria senza lasciare nulla al caso. La cucina è ottima e curata, i pasti vengono serviti con il sorriso e la simpatia di Mombasa in un salone magnifico e accogliente. Ci mancheranno African House e la sua ineguagliabile African Queen, il vero cuore pulsante della casa.
