Turtle Bay Lodge

This was our second stay at Turtle Bay and again, it did not disappoint! I need some new positive words to say!! Vicky and Mick (and of course we can't forget Ralph..) are perfect hosts and all the staff are amazing - so happy, friendly, always smiling and ready to help you with whatever you need. Nothing is ever too much trouble. We took my elderly parents with us this time and they also loved Turtle Bay. Everyone was so caring and really looked after Mum & Dad and treated them like their own parents. We stayed in one of the Marquees, as did Mum & Dad. They are air conditioned, beautifully appointed and very comfortable. The food at Turtle Bay is exceptional and the entertainment is also fantastic. Turtle Bay is located 30-40 minutes outside Luganville but the staff will happily organise airport transfers and taxis for you. They will also organise any day trips or activities you want to do. I just cannot recommend Turtle Bay Lodge highly enough. You need not look any further for somewhere to stay.

Turtle Bay Lodge is the best family accommodation option on Espiritu Santo that includes both a restaurant and pool. Its by the ocean - creating an instant relaxed atmosphere to unwind in. The staff were friendly. Rooms were clean with tasteful interior decorating.

Such a great stay with heaps to explore and enjoy around Santo. The resort staff and Managers were all amazing and available to help us out with any queries and to organise tours upon request. The family room was very comfortable with plenty of space and the food was fantastic. The kids loved spending time in the pool or exploring the waterfront and we enjoyed the amazing snorkeling just offshore. Would happily visit Turtle Bay again!

Such a magical time. Perfect place to holiday with a young child. There was plenty to keep a four-year-old entertained with a kids' pool and a very safe beach. Lots of cut hermit crabs to look at and eels and fish to feed. All the meals were delicious, and the staff were so kind and helpful. Strongly recommend!

We had an amazing 5 night stay at Turtle Bay Lodge. From arriving to leaving it was a very pleasant stay. The location is fabulous, with access to snorkeling straight out the front. They also have their own dive centre so we were lucky enough to go out for a scuba dive with our two children, the reef was beautiful. The managers Mick & Vicky are lovely and nothing is too much trouble. The rest of the staff were also amazing, always smiling, always happy, always attentive. The food at the restaurant was great, we ate at the restaurant every night and every dish we had was superb. Continental Breakfast was included in our stay and was beautiful fresh fruit platter with freshly baked bread and spreads every morning. We hired the quads also for a few days which was awesome & a great way to get up and down the island, the quads navigated the roads well and made for a fun experience. They also have their own car hire service which we also used. We just wish we had more time to spend in Espiritu Santo as it is by far our preferred island over Efate. Big thank you to all the staff who made our stay so enjoyable and memorable. We will certainly recommend Turtle Bay Lodge!

Absolute paradise. Turtle bay lodge is about 20 mins out of the township of Luganville which made it feel like a remote island paradise. Pure waterfront, falling asleep to the sounds of the ocean, waking to see the sunrise, from your bed. The accommodation had all the amenities you need, we had both an oceanfront double room, a studio room with bathroom, tea/coffee, and small fridge, and the marquee tents, like eco glamping tents, with full bathrooms and tea and coffee facilities and a small fridge. - they were really fun and well set up. If you dont do heat well for the time of year we went marquee tents have air-conditioning, oceanfront double do not. The restaurant offered a large number of options for all meals, the servings are large, and sometimes they didn't have the options due to delivery and supply challenges, however plenty of other options available and it was never a problem. Vicky, Mike and all the staff are warm, friendly, fun, would go out of their way to make sure you had what you needed, to arrange taxis or transfers or day trips with most being added to your room bill which you signed off ech night. We had to cut one of our arranged day trips short as my husband became unwell, and our driver Eric called the lodge to let them know, and they checked on us throughout the day. We were there for new years eve and they put on a show with fire dancers, and the a great local performer Desmond who sang us to past midnight and had everyone up dancing. Was a great night with a delicious BBQ buffet dinner. Activities are endless both at the lodge with snorkelling and scuba tours, kayaks, stand up paddle boards or just lazy by the water on a hammock or sun lounger. Rhey have quad bikes and rental cars for hire. And away from the lodge, which is close to 3 of the blue holes, which are stunning, champagne beach and Port Orly. Remember to take vatu cash with you as custom land fees are collected at the entry to all locations like the blue holes and beaches and range from 1000 - 1200 vatu. We all had a magic time and would recommend to everyone.

Staff friendly and helpful, lots of things close by to do. Vicky and Mick were excellent hosts. Diving and snorkelling close by was awesome. We hired a car which gave us great flexibility. Food at turtle bay restaurant was first rate and in our view better quality than other near by venues. Rooms were well serviced at convenient times.

Just had the most amazing three nights at this awesome resort. I have travelled alot and Turtle Bay Lodge is way up there. The managers are outstanding and the staff are amazing. Definitely recommend the resort and the island. It is superbly ran and maintained. Meals and rooms are outstanding. Thank you for an awesome time and we will be back

Paradise from the moment we arrived - absolute blissxx Staff & management were all amazing - such lovely people. We were there for Xmas and had the most amazing Xmas lunch - food is very very good and the cocktails sublime.. We had a beachfront 2 bedroom unit which was glorious, very comfortable; a few steps and then onto the beach, many places to relax and explore around the resort. Highly recommend - we will definitely be back for another holidayx
