Hotel Marina Piccola

Excellent location and very friendly and accommodating family owners. The rooms we had widens open directly to the small harbor, simple, modern decor and well appointed bathroom. The owners helped with transport and local information(take their advice on using the train, it stops right in the center of town).

We stayed for 3 nights at this fabulous small hotel, right in the middle of Manarola. It's a tall, thin hotel so the rooms aren't massive but it was quiet and clean and what made it was Jessica and Alberto. Rarely have I stayed anywhere that has been run by such helpful and lovely people! From booking tables for dinner, advising on walking routes and offering eggs and pancakes for breakfast, along with a buffet. We stayed in room 8 and even though it didn't have a sea view we had a balcony onto the 'main road' - aka charming little street which was fun to sit on and watch the world go by. A beautiful spot in an extraordinary place and staying here means you can enjoy this heavenly village when the majority of crowds have left so get the best of the experience. Fab.

Lovely stay with fantastic help from the lovely Jessica and her team at Hotel Marina piccola. Nothing is too much trouble and they even got us a booking for the most popular restaurant in town on Good Friday! Thanks again and we hope to be back one day

Great location, right in the middle of the Main Street in the village and a manageable walk from the train station with luggage. Worth the trek to be staying in the village as it gets very busy with day trippers during the day but was very peaceful and uncrowded in the mornings and evenings. Staff could not have been more accommodating from getting us wine glasses and a bottle opener for our bottle of Prosecco when we arrived, to the conversations over breakfast with the owners about the best hiking routes to take. Breakfast was very good.

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights from Sept 13 to 17, 2023. Highly recommend Room 9 on the top floor with great view of the ocean, balcony and big room layout. Jessica and her husband were very warm, hospitable, helpful and always eager to help to make our stay comfortable. Hotel is well located, surrounded by good eating places and close to the beach. Boutique style with only 9 rooms, very cosy, clean and feel at home. Highly recommended. Couple from Singapore

The location of the hotel is excellent and a 5 minute walk from the train station. The owner and her husband were lovely and very accommodating. He carried our bags up the 3 flights of stairs to our room. Breakfast was delicious with many choices. Rooms were clean and comfortable. I would definitely return and recommend to others

We had such a lovely stay here. The hotel is small, clean, comfortable, and the family is very welcoming. The breakfast was delicious and the view from Room 4 was amazing! It is steps away from a wonderful swimming spot. Manarola is a beautiful place to stay while exploring Cinque Terra. I would highly recommend a stay here.

Everything about this boutique hotel was pretty much amazing: location, design!, cleanliness, friendliness!, breakfast. Location cannot be beat. It’s right off main road and so you can go in and out when you need a break and are steps from water and shops without the extra walking uphill to places further up the mountain side. Our room was the double on the second floor which I recommend for those who don’t want to walk up extra flight for upper rooms but it is noisier in the morning when folks are exiting. Room was spacious and modern and eclectically designed as is the common area. Owners are both SUPER helpful, kind, and you can’t ask for more. Whomever left one star sounded rather entitled for expecting busy owners to pick up forms for them at a post office—eye roll. If you can get a room at this popular hotel, consider yourself lucky and don’t search further. Bring cash for city tax. Enjoy your stay. Love this place!
