This is a dirty hotel where staff not cleaning corridors and rooms. Staff on reception is ignorant and not respectful. I don’t understand how you pretend that is a 5* hotel when is worthed 2.5*? Avoid, avoid, avoid!!! I was so disappointed when I hear that you charge people 2 euro per cloth to be ironed? How is this possible not to have an iron in the room? This hotel is not a 5* at all. 2.5* I can say The breakfast wasn’t various, the deserts was not delicious at all! Avoid this hotel!!! The best thing was the massage, the tour guide and few activities on the beach.

Having never been to Turkey before. I was apprehensive to say the least. However upon arrival to Riolavitas it was clear that from the first moment this was going to be an amazing holiday. The hotel is stunning. The staff were amazing and the food was plentiful and delicious. The entertainment staff worked so hard to ensure everyone was having a great time without being too pushy. We made good friends with some of them who even came to say good bye at 5am when we were leaving. The Gala Party was one of the best entertainment shows I have ever seen in a hotel. The effort the hotel and staff went to was unbelievable. Live music, dancers, fireworks and the whole pool side was decorated. If you want your pick of the sunbeds you will need to be up at 8am (not an issue for us as we are early risers) to reserve them. If you’re happy to sit anywhere then there are plenty to choose from. A short bus ride to the local shops (5 minutes and 1 euro) is where you will find sports bars, clothes shops and some restaurants should you feel the need to venture outside of the hotel. Evening meal time can get busy around opening time. However if you leave it 30 minutes, there was less queuing. Breakfast and lunch times were always quieter. The rep on arrival told us to avoid the chicken and fish due to them being “risky”. We tried everything and had no issues at all. In fact I would go as far as saying that the food was one of the best all inclusive selections we have had. Make sure you take Euro with you. We exchanged Turkish Lira before we came, however everything is priced in Euro. Most shops do take card and will accept different currency. There are four shops in the hotel selling everything from snacks & essentials to handbags, clothes and shoes. In conclusion, would I visit Turkey again, yes. Would I visit Side again, yes and I would definitely visit Riolavitas again. Simply amazing.

Over all an average hotel NOT 5 stars as it’s claimed to be. we did an all inclusive stay for a week , very annoyed that you have to pay for the same 2euro per day , no iron so you have to pay for the service , indoor pool and swimming pools outside were sooo cold. The entertainment team were rubbish , some nights you had to go all the way to the beach (8 min walk ) in the dark to see some music or whatever they have on. No communication between staff. Not a lot of English speaking staff, however some are helpful. The good thing about this hotel is the food , lots of variety and their a la carte restaurant you can eat for free for one meal then it’s 50 euro per person ….. do me a favour ….. anyhow our experience at the restaurant was ridiculous as they gave us alcohol when we said non alcohol , then they forgot to serve us dinner and 1.5 hours later they turn up with cold food. Only positive thing about this hotel is their SPA , professional therapists nice rooms and lovely staff , one guy JAD at the spa was very accommodating , we used their massage services 3 x times while staying here.

Starting from advantages: the staff was very kind, especially the spa worker Izzy, who in the first day showed us the hotel and to the end of ours holidays he was very nice and open. Disadvantages: We saw the bad employee (like waitress) treatment from manager. They reprimanded the lowest-level employee in front of a guest, which is highly unprofessional. I think that as a 5-star hotel it should change its approach to employees, because for half of my stay I felt sorry for these people. Also hotel need renovation and we expected that when we are going to a 5-star hotel there would be greater attention to cleanliness.

The hotel is quite run-down. Upon arriving at the lobby on the day of check-in, one might initially think, "wow!" However, unfortunately, that's about it. The hygienic conditions in the hotel (including some disgustingly unhygienic guests' fault regarding the toilets in the lobby and restaurant area) are at the lowest level. Additionally, there are safety-related deficiencies that I have reported to the hotel but have not received a response to until today. The emergency exits on the floors are cluttered with carts used by the cleaning staff, making it impossible to pass through in a serious emergency. The corridors leading to the rooms, especially in front of my room, were heavily soiled, and I had to complain several times on different days before someone finally ordered the floor to be vacuumed. In the first room I was given, the air conditioning only seemed to work for about half an hour at a time. After that, it displayed the code CH53, as many others have also described here. Water leaked from the shower cubicle, reaching the hallway of the room. The toilet was not even touched or cleaned. I tested this multiple times. Daily use items like towels were not replenished or not properly replenished. The minibar was only restocked upon request. It felt like I had to bring attention to something going wrong with Guest Relations once a day. Unfortunately, despite the numerous reports, nothing ever changed. There were just constant apologies. The following employees in the restaurants have stood out to me exclusively in a positive way: -Halim Gül (always has a smile ready for the guest and accommodates all guest requests). -Sevda Tan (extremely talented young aspiring chef with an incredible attention to detail). The following employees at the bars have stood out to me exclusively in a positive way: Hülya Sahin, Ferdi Sonkaya, Melik Firat Simsek, Berat Bey, Sılanur Hanım, Kader Hanım, Ahmet Bey. Constant apologies were made in response to all complaints. Once, I was offered a room change, which I accepted. My tour operator was informed that I would receive a better room category, which is not true at all. Additionally, it was stated that I would receive fruit and a bottle of wine. I sent the wine back immediately, as I do not consume alcohol, and the fruit plate consisted of a selection of fruits that I could have easily taken from the buffet at any time. Furthermore, dirty cutlery was placed with it. That was the last straw; they did not address the many other shortcomings. The outdoor pools are not heated and consequently are ice-cold, at least during my stay. Furthermore, a hotel informant revealed to me that the indoor pool is not cleaned at all, as the responsibility between the spa and the hotel has not been agreed upon. In my opinion, the beach area of the hotel is large enough, but it's evident that everything is quite dated, especially concerning the furniture and the cushions on the sun loungers. There's only a limited selection o

stayed here for 10 days. Wouldn’t say I’m that keen to come back, the hotel room was lovely and modern, we paid extra for a sea view- pool view but overlooked another hotel and a little bit of sea so that was disappointing. cleaner was friendly however the room didn’t get cleaned properly unless you asked. Towels are changed only. Food was okay wouldn't say the best, breakfast was the same more or less and basic. Entertainment- I’ve never been to a hotel with such bad entertainment, two times we walked over to the beach as they said it was on then and it was shut down all dark to be told not outside, had to ask receptionist 2 times about where it was going to be and they had no clue.kids dance for 15-20 mins at 9pm which is very late and never known this ever before. The long path to the beach is very dark and scary if you were walking alone so I wouldn’t even bother. Entertainment for the kids in day time is hardly anything. I wouldn’t say this hotel is very child friendly more for couples. Location was good to be fair had a bus stop outside which was very cheap to get to a local shopping mall or town centre. There is a water park near by but isn’t open at the moment ( may ) but looks decent. The hotel gym was spacious but hardly any of the machines were working which is very disappointing. The indoor pool is freezing and had a funny smell and also it needs a lot of work doing to the spa area and pool.. Would I stay here again defo not with kids unless it changed the entertainment and updated some parts of the hotel.

Riolavitas Resort&Spa exceeded my expectations in every way, offering the perfect blend of relaxation, entertainment, and natural beauty - so I even extended my holiday for another week. Great hotel, love the minimalistic interior. All the stuff team is so welcoming and nice, don’t hesitate to ask whatever you need - you will get great assistance. The spa facilities were top-notch, offering a wide range of relaxing treatments and massages that left me feeling rejuvenated and pampered. The entertainment options at the hotel were also fantastic, with live music and performances adding to the vibrant atmosphere. Plus, the hotel's convenient access to the beach made it easy to enjoy the stunning natural surroundings and soak up the sun. Love the choice for food wise, I’m sure everyone will find what they like to eat. From fresh seafood to local specialties, every dish was a culinary delight.
