Side Village Hotel - All Inclusive

It was good hotel,friendly staff,good location.Good food selection.But ice cream was only available 2 hour a day for free,otherwise need to pay about 2 euros for the ice cream.Guess regular shuttle service was broken and hotel has only car who can accommodate 4 people.Staff spoke good English.

We will never return to this hotel, On arrival our 2 bedrooms apartment was not ready so we were all crammed into a single room, at the hottest part of the day the next day we were told we could move into our room, it was spacious, only 1 of the 2 air con machines was working, the room looked tidy at first but on inspection it wasn’t clean, we had someone else’s toothpaste remnants on the shelf, the floor was dirty, the quilts were off white & no quilted cover provided, On our 2 week stay we ate out 6 times as neither of our kids (15 & 7) wanted to eat the food, In the first couple of days is became known that quite a few people were either sick, had diarrhoea or an ear infection, on the 3rd day my eldest went down with diarrhoea & my youngest had a very painful ear infection & was sick, we put it down to heat stroke & water in the ear from swimming, I went to the pharmacy & I was advised that it is very common this year for some reason, We got speaking to a lovely family & the dad advised us to only swim at the beech or in the smaller pool by the slides, his reason for this is he witnessed an adult vomit by the side of the pool, he went & advised a staff member if this & the simply swept the vomit into the drain/gutter at the side of the pool, then they got the hose pipe & rinsed the area, I actually witnessed a member of staff do exactly that with food left on the floor when they was preparing the tables for dinner, there was lots of chips, bread & other food on the floor, rather than sweep it up & put it on the bin this was also washed into the drain/gutter area, The balcony was not cleaned at all for the whole 2 weeks, & the floor must have been washed with a dry mop as every time we walked on it even after it was “cleaned” our feet or socks was black, The food was plentiful but not good quality, I am an early riser & watched the food being put out at around 7am but the doors didn’t open for breakfast until 8am, there is a burger bar by the pool, you have to time it right so you get hot chips, otherwise at best they are warm after being left out for a few hours, The beech is amazing & the shuttle bus is very good, Most of the staff were very friendly, & if they didn’t speak English they would get someone who could, I did notice that in order to guarantee a seat by the pool for the evening meal you had to give money to the staff, if not you were not guaranteed a table, The entertainment was appalling, the same songs every night for the kids, the acts were very short & not the best acts at all, I always enjoy my holidays but on this one my whole family could not wait to get home,

Lovely family hotel, rooms cleaned everyday. Plenty of sun loungers . food was good, really liked the fruit and desserts. Burgers available most of the day. Only thing I would say that let it down for us was the entertainment was on at dinner time so couldn’t really enjoy it as we were having dinner inside the restaurant at that time.

Came here in April 2024 and then again in September, my partner had been here a couple of times before. Hotel is excellent, clean, the staff and management can’t do enough for you, all lovely and friendly, food and drink is great 10/10 wld definitely recommend here, and will definitely come back

I recently stayed at this hotel, and while the room itself was okay and fairly spacious, I encountered a major issue that ruined the entire experience. The hotel seems to be running a scam where they intentionally overbook rooms. When you arrive, they claim there's a "technical issue" with your room and then send you to a cheap motel down the road for the night. It’s clearly a tactic to make easy money at the expense of guests' comfort and trust. It’s dishonest and extremely frustrating. The food was another letdown—repetitive, dry, and far from enjoyable. The staff were mostly young and inexperienced, offering little help when issues arose. Honestly, the only redeeming factors were the size of the room (once we finally got it) and the proximity to a nice beach. Unfortunately, those positives don't make up for the underhanded practices and poor service. I wouldn’t recommend this place unless you're prepared to deal with a scam and mediocre amenities.

i wished I chose a different hotel. The first night we were given a bottom corner room, the balcony was surrounded by a bush, I showed them my booking which was a pool view so they moved us, the new room is still on a corner but not much of a pool view tbh, but the room is lovely and big with aircon in both rooms and the beds are super comfy. As for the food, there's lots of it and fresh but deffo doesn't cater for any English, I think ive seen one English family here, breakfast is awful, u will be lucky to get a boiled egg, everything else is dry, a few beans or tinned tomatoes wouldnt go amiss, oh , and no English tea, all herbal so u will have to buy teabags. Lunch and dinner is better, more of a selection and nice and fresh. The staff are lovely and the hotel is clean and in a good location, would I come back, probably not to be honest
