Stepping into the room, I was immediately captivated by its high ceilings, almost two stories tall. It's located diagonally opposite Oxford train station, making it incredibly convenient for trips to Liverpool and York. They offer complimentary cocktails and beer from 5:00 to 6:00 PM, which is a real treat after a long day out. The glass-enclosed breakfast room is also beautiful.

First of all, huge thanks for the room upgrade! I was a bit worried arriving around 7-8 PM that there wouldn't be any good rooms left, but wow, it exceeded expectations. The room was cozy and comfortable, and they thoughtfully provided some snacks, various teas and coffees, bottled water, and fresh milk. All the toiletries you could ask for were there, though we brought our own. It was clean, tidy, and spacious – super comfortable! It's also incredibly convenient for walking to the Science and Industry Museum, the Art Gallery, and the Football Museum, as well as for shopping. I loved it! There's a little bit of noise since it's near the train station, but it didn't affect my sleep at all. The front desk service was excellent, and their smiles were so sweet, haha! 😂

Excellent! It's a landmark right in the heart of Manchester. When I was a student, I'd pass by every day and wonder what it was like inside. I made sure to stay here for my wedding in Manchester, and it was absolutely wonderful, with a fantastic old-money vibe.

I stayed here in February and the value for money was excellent. It had the historical charm of an old building, yet it was clean and tidy. The breakfast staff and front desk were both very welcoming. This was my second stay this month, and I didn't want to switch rooms late at night. Everyone should be aware that, while the room I got was generally as good as before, it had a locked-off, old, disused elevator door inside, which was quite creepy. Even though it was locked, it felt very strange to have a door in the room that I couldn't lock myself.
