The hotel is a bit dated and hasn't been renovated in a long time. The pool and the entire surrounding area are terrible; something needs to be done. The insulation between the rooms needs better because we had the impression our neighbor was staying with us. The entire parking lot is being resurfaced after so many years. A lot of money spent on the hotel. The location is fantastic.

We stayed for two nights and particularly benefited from the clean pool and the beaches, which are easily accessible by car. The view from the hotel and the rooms is very beautiful. Unfortunately, the rooms are very noisy. We also had a room with a locked door to the neighboring room, through which you could hear every word and, unfortunately, other noises as well. The furnishings in the rooms with a kitchenette were also somewhat run-down. Cabinet doors were hanging off and were carelessly stocked with three forks, a knife, and a glass. It was also unpleasant that the toilet didn't flush properly. The breakfast was okay and sufficient. My only negative point here was the mismatched, sometimes chipped, and not always immaculately clean dishes. Furthermore, the coffee was unfortunately not very tasty. That's a shame for a hotel in Italy, but unfortunately not uncommon. Not suitable for us for more than two nights. Thanks anyway!

Basically, the hotel is very nicely laid out. The breakfast was OK. The rooms are spacious, the balcony offers a nice view. However, there is a connecting door to the neighboring apartment, which means that the rooms are very thinly soundproof. You can hear every word from the neighboring room. The worst thing about my stay was that money - 380 euros to be exact - was stolen from my wallet while my handbag was in the room. I only realized it when I checked out and could have reported it to the police. Otherwise, no one could help me. I don't want to blame anyone, but there are only two possibilities: 1) it was the cleaning staff or 2) the connecting door was not locked and the money was stolen by those who had the room next to me. I think it's terrible that something like this happens, so please lock the money and don't leave it unlocked in the room!!!!!!

I stayed at the Belvedere recently on route to the Dolomites. We arrived late and as soon as we arrived the welcome we received from Davide was amazing, shortly after Badiano helped us with parking and Guiseppe checked us out the next day with a big smile! Cannot fault the facilities, breakfast and the pool were fantastic, every member of staff was friendly and polite, what a way to start our holiday in Italy, been travelling many years but this was one of the nicest welcomes I’ve ever had, we will definitely return for a longer stay at The Belvedere.

Hotel was lovely positioned, views lovely, but 1 staff very bad. Food was very bad, could not eat it , and lots of other people felt the same. Waitress told us , English don't follow rules, because I wanted to sit on balcony in the sunshine to eat my breakfast, she told me no , but I did and then she threw a tantrum and threw napkins and cutlery on table. It's a shame as it could be a nice hotel. Rooms were good.

Don't expect too much as it's just a standard hotel. I got there after the check in time, I received my key and when I got to the room, it wasn't done. So I waited for about 40 minutes for it. When I finally could use the room I realized the roller flush didn't work so I had to change room and waisted kind of 2 hours in total. The room has a very nice view on the lake Garda but it's just standard, not all cleaned, there was even a glass used by the previous guest in the kitchen not washed, air conditioning doesn't refresh much and I couldn't change the temperature. The bed is fine but pillows are very thin and uncomfortable. The pool at non gets a lot of shadows because of a big tree which is annoying. Breakfast is fine and the restaurant is ok. Not sure I'll come back there again

Average hotel. Beds were okay but pillows very thin specially for a side sleeper. View off balcony was great. Spent one whole day just resting and enjoying the view. Walk to/from lake not difficult. Only major downside is that without a car you really are limited to places to eat.

When you arrive, the hotel makes a nice impression, you are warmly welcomed, but you are not greeted, rather coolly distant. Unfortunately there is almost only negative things to say about the room itself. When you arrive, the floor is dirty, you immediately have black feet when you walk barefoot. Shabby, coffee machine that's no good, plates dirty from the previous person (how much do you pay for final cleaning?), the coating on the pots is partly chipped off, very healthy! The extractor hood is greasy when touched. Fridge somewhat ok. The television, an inadequate mini unit with an even more inadequate channel list. 20 Italian channels, 3 German ones, ARD, ZDF and RTL, picture quality poor. In this day and age, satellite television is probably standard. Not necessary on vacation? We had rainy days... The bed was chipped everywhere, there was no table in the room, you had to get it from the balcony. Storage space, cupboards more than sufficient. The mini kitchenette has seen better days. Towels, they are changed once a week, but they are thin towels, so it's better to bring your own. And change once a week? Oh well. Bathroom was clean and ok. Cleaning staff comes once a week, definitely not enough! The facility itself could use a new coat of paint. Breakfast: for a full cup of coffee you have to queue 3 times because it's only 1/3 full, which is annoying. Selection: cakes, cakes and more cakes, a few lousy rolls, few sausages and fresh cheese, no tomatoes, cucumbers etc. A lot of cereal. And packaged jam, Nutella. After the first breakfast we left it alone! Lidl is not far away and you can get really good bread rolls and also good cheese and sausage products there. There is also a baker nearby. So, breakfast on the balcony with a fantastic view. But as I said, “An absolutely great view doesn’t excuse everything!” If the facility is not renovated, we will not go there again, especially since the prices for the same period at ************ have increased by €300.
