Hotel Sogo Malate

Every time i need to stay in Manila it always goes to Sogo Malate, you've not to worry about parking that's the most important to me.. Well I'm a frugal person😁 i just need a shut eye and a nice hot shower, nothing more. Angel's pizza,BPI & Mc Donalds are just around the corner ..

The service was excellent 👌🏻, The crews are very attentive , The location is great and it's accessible in a convenient store, McDonald's and near gasoline station. The rooms smell like roads because of cigarette smoke Btw We stayed there for 3 days and 2 nights..😅 .

We work in the hospitality industry ourselves, so we were disappointed with the level of service we received from the staff. They were neither accommodating nor helpful during our stay. Upon check-in, we requested an iron for our uniforms, but despite multiple follow-ups, we were unable to use one until checkout. Before leaving at 5 PM, we even informed the reception that we would be happy to borrow it later once we returned. However, when we came back, our request still had not been addressed, and we were told that the hotel only had two irons available. Even if there were limited irons, proper follow-up with the previous guest using it could have been done so other guests could also use it. We stayed for 22 hours and only needed the iron for about 5–10 minutes. There were also several false promises from the reception staff, and it seemed there was a lack of proper endorsement or communication between shifts.

All basic necessities are there. But the heater is not working properly.

I recently stayed at Hotel Sogo, and I must say that my overall experience was pleasant and satisfying. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by how well-maintained and organized the place was. The room was exceptionally clean, which gave me an immediate sense of comfort and relaxation after a long day of travel. The floors were spotless, the linens smelled fresh, and the bathroom was tidy and well-sanitized — no traces of dirt or unpleasant odors at all. The housekeeping staff clearly does an excellent job of maintaining cleanliness. They were very polite and accommodating whenever I requested for towels or extra toiletries. Every time I stepped out and returned, the room was always in perfect order — bed neatly fixed, trash emptied, and surfaces dust-free. Aside from cleanliness, the room ambiance was cozy and peaceful. The air-conditioning worked well, the lighting was just right, and the TV provided a good variety of channels. The bed was comfortable enough for a restful sleep, and the overall environment was quiet, which made it easy to unwind. I also appreciated the staff’s friendliness and professionalism. They greeted me with smiles and made sure that check-in and check-out were fast and convenient. Their hospitality made me feel welcome throughout my stay. The location of the hotel is also a big plus — very accessible to transportation, convenience stores, and restaurants. It’s ideal for travelers who want a clean and affordable place to stay without sacrificing comfort and convenience. Overall, I would describe my stay at Hotel Sogo as clean, safe, and comfortable. It’s a great choice for budget-conscious travelers who prioritize cleanliness and good service. I would definitely consider staying here again the next time I need a quick and relaxing place to rest.

Super satisfied with the service, the cleanliness, the location, free parking, paid at a cheap price. Sulit.
