Manzhouli Matryoshka Hotel

This hotel is literally a Matryoshka doll hotel! Seriously, the room is full of Matryoshka dolls 🪆, they're everywhere! Don't believe me? I've got pictures to prove it! 😁 All the photos are from inside the room, except for the last one which was taken in the elevator. The lobby and other public areas are also packed with Matryoshka dolls 🪆. The package I booked included attraction tickets, offering 48-hour unlimited entry. If you love a princess vibe and enjoy taking photos at attractions, you might want to consider a package that includes tickets.

Worth staying at! The breakfast spread was so good, but it got so crowded there weren't enough seats! The changing magical lights in the atrium gave it such an surreal feel, and the marble on the floor was absolutely beautiful. I'd definitely stay here again!

This hotel is a landmark in Manzhouli and arguably the best in Inner Mongolia for tourism. I was really impressed with my stay. Everything, from the front desk service and the luxurious decor to the fully smart-enabled rooms, shows incredible attention to detail. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious, and my child loved it.

I stayed at Matryoshka Block A Hotel. The facilities are relatively new; the lobby, rooms, and hardware are all quite good. On the positive side, the front desk staff were very helpful and professional during check-in. The main downside for me was that breakfast ends at 9:30 AM. Typically, hotels of this caliber serve breakfast until 10 AM, and I understand this was communicated during check-in. The reason I gave a low one-star rating for service is because on the second day, during check-out, the housekeeping staff kept asking us when we were leaving from early in the morning. They asked when we saw them, again after breakfast when we returned to our room, and then again when we left at 10 AM. I was so annoyed that I told them I had arranged a 1 PM check-out with the front desk yesterday, and there was no need to constantly badger us about checking out, it felt like being chased for a debt. When we returned to the room at 1 PM to pack our bags and check out, the same housekeeping staff member swiped her card and entered our room, only to find us inside. She then explained she didn't know anyone was in there and left. The most infuriating part was that a few minutes later, when we opened the door to leave with our luggage, she was standing right outside, which gave us a fright! I hope the hotel seriously reprimands this staff member on the 16th floor; it was absolutely infuriating.

Terrible experience. The hygiene was really subpar; there were still items from the previous guest on the floor. The soundproofing was also poor. I won't be staying here again.

Finally got to check out the famous Matryoshka Doll Hotel, and my stay far exceeded expectations! The exterior is an iconic giant matryoshka doll building; its intricate paintings truly shine in the sun. The Guinness-certified unique architecture lives up to its reputation. Stepping into the lobby was breathtaking: a 60-meter high domed ceiling, crystal chandeliers, and palatial frescoes create a grand and dreamlike atmosphere. Matryoshka elements are everywhere – in the corridors, elevators, and guest rooms, with customized cups, amenity kits, and cushions, all adding a fairy-tale touch with meticulous detail. The room was spacious and clean, with excellent hygiene. The mattress was soft, and soundproofing was good, complemented by smart amenities. There's even a cute matryoshka robot that delivers meals and guides you, which the kids absolutely loved. The staff were warm and friendly, and check-in was efficient. The stay included unlimited access to the Matryoshka scenic area, which was super convenient, and the night view with the lights was absolutely stunning. Overall, it combines aesthetics, comfort, and a great location, making it perfect for family trips or couples. I'd definitely choose to stay here again next time I visit Manzhouli!

Excellent! Matryoshka dolls are everywhere 🪆 The staff were very polite, and the breakfast was incredibly rich and delicious. My child loved it. The room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was comfortable. We were very satisfied and happy!

The service was warm and attentive; my luggage was brought all the way to my room. The room itself was spacious and beautifully decorated, and very clean. The bathroom was large, with a separate shower room, toilet, and vanity area, which was very convenient. We requested a sewing kit, an extra quilt, and more bottled water, and all were delivered promptly to our room. The bedding was comfortable. Although the ground floor of the hotel is open to the public, the elevators to the guest floors are well-managed with dedicated staff, ensuring a very quiet stay upstairs.

The room was clean and tidy, and the service was excellent. The bellhop even proactively helped with our luggage, which is the standard for a luxury hotel. However, the hotel air conditioning didn't provide heat! This completely shattered my impression of a luxury hotel! It's definitely not suitable for moms traveling with kids!
