Ilora Retreat is an amazing property in the heart of the Masai Mara,very friendly staff. The tents are well-furnished. It is in the deep forest and surrounded by the sounds of nature. At night, we could hear hippos and lions making sounds in the distance which was a very nice experience. The food was very delicious, and we were happy to have our requests for Indian food accommodated. we had a bush dinner under the open sky, surrounded by lanterns and the sounds of the wild which was truly unforgettable experience. We were escorted by security staff ensuring our safety from wild animals while moving between areas at night. Overall , it was a wonderful safari stay.

We had an amazing stay at llora retreats , With breathtaking views and all the amenities you require, the camp is exquisitely furnished. The staff , very thoughtful and incredibly welcoming, always willing to help, and obviously loved the site. I would highly suggest it.

Amazing experience from start to finish. The game drives were top-notch—our guide knew the area so well and always found the best spots. Every drive felt different and exciting. The camp is beautifully set up, with stunning views and all the comforts you need. What really made it special was the team—super friendly, always helpful, and clearly passionate about the place. Would 100% recommend.

My wife and I stayed at Ilora @ Masai Mara for 4 days, and it was truly an amazing experience. There are 4 things that really stood out for us: 1️⃣ Location: Ilora is located inside the Masai Mara park, which makes it so convenient to head out for game drives. You can even hear animals right from your tent — an experience we’ll never forget! 2️⃣ Amenities: The tents are luxurious and very comfortable. We loved the sky deck for stargazing — lying under a million stars in the middle of the Mara was magical. They also offer a guided walking trail through the bushes to a hippo pool, which was a unique experience. 3️⃣ Hospitality: The staff are incredibly warm and caring. I wasn’t feeling well when I landed in Kenya, and the team at Ilora took such good care of me — they even gave me special herbal concoctions and medicines to help me recover quickly. 4️⃣ Guides and Safari: The guides at Ilora are outstanding — professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate. Thanks to them, we saw the Big 5 not once, but three times! Every game drive was exciting and so well-organized. We left Ilora with wonderful memories and would recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic yet luxurious safari stay inside the Masai Mara.
