Great tent, amazing location by mara river. You can hear hippos grunting throughout night. The morning are beautiful with birds chirping all around. They also had the option for night safari which was an amazing experience.

This is going to be long, but it's worth reading if you're interested in this hotel or a safari experience. It was our first safari experience and it couldn't have been better. We stayed for a total of 5 nights. The hotel selection made our experience incredible and perfect. We love to travel, and out of all the hotels we've stayed at, this one took the top spot for hospitality and service. The entire staff is extremely friendly, always smiling. The perfect word to describe what they do is "pamper" you at all times. From the moment you arrive until you leave, there's no fault in their hospitality, kindness, and service. Every hotel in the world should learn from this one. They always make you feel at home, not just like any other guest. My husband and I grew attached to everyone. We'd like to highlight the impeccable work of Emmanuel, our guide for the Game Drives. We know our unbeatable experience was largely thanks to him. Always in the best attitude, attentive, kind, respectful, punctual, PATIENT, cheerful, and professional. He always made us feel interested and motivated during the game drives, sometimes lasting almost 12 hours in one day. At no point did we get bored with him. It's clear he has a passion for animals, nature, his country, and its culture, and he was able to transmit and share all of this with us. We're grateful and feel lucky to have had him during our stay. He always answered any questions or concerns we had, seems like he can read the animals' minds. He knew exactly where to go, how, and when to get close to the animals. I literally cried when I said goodbye to him. We hope he continues to be a guide for a long time, as he does it perfectly! Another example of the hotel's hospitality: In the morning, they come to your room to wake you up at the time you agreed with them the night before. You don't even need to get out of bed to open the door for the housekeeper; they enter directly to leave you hot coffee for when you wake up. During our stay, Elphas was our housekeeper, and we were totally happy with him. Always punctual, kind and respectful towards us. At night, he prepared our room with hot compresses on the bed, dim lighting, water bottles, chocolates. At night, a guard stays outside the rooms, ensuring we aren't exposed to any animals. When you leave your room at night, they're accompanied by a flashlight to the restaurant or lobby for your safety. The hotel's cleanliness, rooms, restaurant, and common areas were impeccable. The design fits perfectly with the safari experience. The place is exactly as shown in the photos; everything matches. Linda and Sharon at reception welcomed us in the best way. Even before arriving, I sent several emails with questions, and they answered all of them quickly and kindly. The food is quite delicious, varied, flavorful, and abundant. The only thing I'd add is more options for breakfast, desserts, and game drive lunches. We toally recommend to stay at Neptune Mara Rianta!!

This was an excellent choice for our first trip to Kenya! The hotel/resort/camp was amazing, with exceptional staff and service. Daniel, our butler, was fantastic, always there with a smile for laundry, coffee, or turndown service, and even guided us back to our tent at night. Robert, the waiter, served us with a smile and ensured we had the best meals, thanks to the chef. Our safari guide, Emmanuel, was outstanding, showing us everything we wanted in Masai Mara. Manager John and guest relations head Sharon were also incredible. It’s the best luxury camp in my opinion!

From the moment we stepped into Neptune, we were greeted by John and Sharon. Their hospitality aswell as the rest of staff was impeccable. We really felt at home during our 2 night safari stay. It was nice to have Dickson the chef actually come out to speak with us about the food which was AMAZING! The food options were so good and presented so well. Even better our waiter Alfred was always smiling, professional and just a joy to be served by. And lastly Moses our butler was great, always on hand for anything we needed + our wake up calls were never late and even when making up our rooms, he even placed hot water bottles in the bed for us to remain warm, (which I’ve never had any accommodation do before). The grounds are wonderful, with Hippos on site which adds great viewing. Our room was nice and big, a great shower and bathroom, honestly what an incredible place, just a shame we were only there for 2 nights. The staff really do help enhance the Lodge which is wonderful.

Visited in Feb 2025 during the calving season at the Mara and could not be happier to have started our safari trip at the Neptune luxury camp. Right from the greeting when we arrived until the departure, everything was top notch. The camp rooms were spacious with excellent views of the Mara river (and the resident hippo family), it was almost like we had our own hippos! The food was amazing as well. The best part about the stay was definitely the amazing staff! Gibson, Kelvin, Sharon, John, the chef and the whole team - thank you so much for taking such excellent care throughout our stay, it was memorable because of you! Special thanks to the wonderful chef who created amazing local dishes specially for us, this was a particular highlight. All in all, an excellent stay and we will definitely be coming back again.

We can't say enough about how wonderful this resort is. We were treated like royalty by every single staff member from arrival until departure. It felt like we were visiting family, not staying at a Safari resort. Daniel is an absolutely fabulous guide. He treated our children like his own and catered to their interests on 3 top notch Safari drives and one walking Safari. The food service was fast and very accommodating for our dietary needs and allergies. We did a bush lunch organized by John and Peter which was the ultimate experience for all of us. We were served a five star lunch with a full menu of drinks in the middle of the reserve with dozens of animals in clear view along the Mara River full of hippos. The tent we stayed in was also surprisingly comfortable and luxurious. Hot water is available 24 hours unlike many other camps. There is full butler service with s service button in the room that gets you a service attendant who will cater to your every need. Free laundry is extremely convenient after spending a few days away from the city in the heat. Our children were very sad to leave and are already begging to come back. A huge thank you to Peter, Daniel, Wesley, Elaphas and John for making our stay memorable!

The staff, management and all the safari drivers were incredibly kind and gracious. The experience we had at Neptune Rianta was beyond what we could have imagined. The tents were so spacious and comfortable. We slept so well even though we were in the middle of the jungle! The sunrises were beautiful. One of our family members is a wheelchair user and the staff put ramps into the main area and into our tent. There were always people around to help us whenever we needed it. They even have an accessible bridge going over the Mara river which was fun to cross. The safari drives were incredible. Daniel and Emmanuel took us to beautiful spots to view the animals and we got to see most of them. It was very special to hear stories about the indigenous land and its animals especially from the drivers who are part of the Maasai peoples. They were so kind and friendly. We visited a Maasai village, a very memorable experience which I highly recommend. The food at Neptune was incredible as was the service. Truly, they thought of all the special touches when designing Neptune Rianta. We will never forget the memories we made there and the people we met.

The Neptune Mara Rianta is a stunning resort with a beautiful main area with a bar and restaurant. There is a small pool which is wonderfully refreshing after a day touring the conservation area. We were told that this resort was a little further from the main conservation area, but there was plenty to see right next to the resort and we had a Masaai guide show us around that area one afternoon. We enjoyed a bit of distance and that might be preferable in the busy season when there can be crowds at many of the sights. Our tent was spacious and very well-equipped. Beds were very comfortable, and there was a desk and a few chairs to sit in, as well as chairs on our large deck. I was really impressed with the quality of the bathroom and shower. Hard to believe that we were in a tent in the middle of nowhere. I could “camp” like that any day! Neighbourhood hippos were a highlight and being able to watch them bathe in the river mere metres from where we could sit was great. There was a small ridge separating the tent from the river. Large enough to keep the hippos away – and I didn’t test getting any closer. The hippos can be noisy from time to time, but it’s a small price to pay. I also loved the many small dik-diks that wandered around the site. Moses was our butler and took care of everything in our tent. He brought us coffee and a small snack as our wake up service every morning; including at 3:45am when we got up for a sunrise hot air balloon. He did laundry for us, turn down every night and the tent was spotless when we returned at the end of the day. Thank-you Moses. We did a hot air balloon ride one morning and I was amazing at how the whole camp was ready for us at 3:45am. Moses was there with coffee and snacks, we had a guide to walk us through the dark to the pick up, and someone was at reception to make sure we got away ok. The food was great, including box lunches that we had on safari. The head chef come over to meet us several times, including to make sure our lunches were good and to get any suggestions. Robert in the dining room took care of us at every meal, and the staff did an amazing job at quickly learning our preferences. He also made us laugh all the time. Thank-you Robert. There were also numerous other people that made our time at the Mara Rianta special – Salomon and Kevin at the bar, Peter in the dining room, and all the front desk staff that took care of things. I apologize for missing anyone, and I also know that with the level of service we received, there were undoubtedly many staff behind the scenes that we never saw but made it all wonderful. We whole-heartedly recommend the Neptune Mara Rianta.
