"Our stay at marari beach resort by cgh earth gave us a refreshing experience. The property is set in a vast 30 acres land with variety of plants and natural elements. There are about 60 cottages, all of them designed in tune with nature. The rooms are big in size and the interiors are beautiful. The bathrooms are designed in an 'open to nature' style, which is a highlight and will give you a new experience. There are many activities like a large swimming pool, archery practice, some indoor games and all. The beach is just a 5 minutes walk from the property and is in the premises. Though the beach is not private, you won't find much public in this area. They have security and life guards available throughout. Staffs are well trained and they ensure your comfort always. Overall a wonderful experience and value is provided for what you pay."

The homestay also has a really nice location; near to a very beautiful beach and also near to the city aleppuzha. The room was really nice; ac and very clean! "We stayed at Abad Turtle Beach, Marari, for two nights in one of the beach villas and came away with a somewhat mixed impression. Despite it being tail end of the monsoon, the weather was pleasant - slightly humid, but not hot, sticky and sweaty. T The resort's biggest strength is its excellent location, right next to the beach with easy access to a long stretch of sandy shoreline. We particularly enjoyed our morning walks ***** the beach. The sea was rough as expected at this time of the year. The grounds are well maintained and include a lovely butterfly garden, a small children's play area, and a good-sized swimming pool. The resort also offers a variety of recreational activities, including badminton, table tennis, and carrom, which should appeal to families and guests looking for some on-site entertainment. The property has a single restaurant serving buffet breakfast and dinner, ***** with an à la carte menu for lunch and dinner. We had the breakfast buffet on both mornings and found the selection fairly limited, with food that was average in quality. In contrast, the à la carte menu was excellent, offering a good variety of dishes and consistently delicious food for both lunch and dinner. One thing to note is that the hotel is not licensed to sell alcohol, although it can be purchased elsewhere and brought in. Our beach villa was clean and comfortable, but the accommodation felt somewhat dated, particularly the bathroom, which had a noticeable musty smell. The staff were polite, courteous, and always willing to help. Despite spending most of our time outdoors and dining in the open restaurant area, we were rarely bothered by mosquitoes, which is a credit to the resort's attention to cleanliness and pest-control. However, a significant downside was the poor and unhygienic facilities provided for drivers, especially when compared with the excellent provisions at the hotel we stayed in Thekkady, just prior to our stay in Abad. Overall, this resort could be a good choice for families, particularly because of its beachfront setting, well-kept grounds, range of activities, pleasant outdoor environment and excellent service. However, given the shortcomings mentioned above, it may be worth exploring some of the other options in the Marari area before making a final decision."

"Pros: Calm surroundings and decent ambience . Good bathroom Beach 500m from the property. Cons: Cheap bed sheets and hard uncomfortable mattresses with damp smelling rooms and insects. Very dusty lights and fixtures. No hot water option for shower and only 1 single thin shower towel for 2 persons. Shame! Would not recommend."

"We had a lovely time at Beach Symphony at Marari - this is a genuine review and we have no relation to the owner or employees. The staff were excellent and we enjoyed our discussions with Deepu. Shaylan the chef made every effort to cook good food for us and we liked the set up where meals were bought to your own terrace. Dominic was also a pleasure when serving the food with his unique sense of humour. We would recommend this to anyone wanting a quiet and relaxed time at Marari.Not withstanding you can hear local activity at times but it is always quiet after 8.00pm but the sounds of the birds and the odd sighting of a chipmunk adds to the tropical experience. The beach is just outside with various beach shacksThe Fisherman’s Cafe serves good food. The sea is warm but on the rough side so care is advised. However the Beach Symphony has a really nice garden with 15 meter pool. The best cottage is the one with its own pool - a large light room with a high ceiling - the bathroom is outside in the garden. The next best room is the one adjacent to it with the red wall. I hope future guests enjoy it as much as we did. Jane ,UK national living in Spain."
