Aparthotel Monarque Sultán

Great location and room has kitchen and washing machine for clothes. Laundry drying rack on big balcony. 24/7 front desk Gym Pool  Spa  Location is the best! Only 1 block from beach and walking distance to everything. A few negatives were that there was a strange fishy smell in our room and the toilet button to flush was difficult to flush. Would have liked more towels as well. Washcloth and extra bath towels. Iron didn’t work either. Better coffee options and some bottled water would have been nice too.  Otherwise,  would definitely return to this location.

Good service and clean room, big room and good view

The hotel’s location is quiet.. the sea is about 5 minutes walk away. There is a promenade nearby which leads you to lots of restaurants and old town about 15-20 minutes away. There is a lidl and carrefour 5 minute drive away. The hotel itself is nice and elegant but some of the amenities of the room need updating like the kitchen and dining table and chairs. Beds are comfortable. The shower is nice and bath tub. We were on the 5th floor with sea view and pool view and there is a river also that runs through which is nice. We went during off peak so swimming pool was closed outdoors but we did use the indoor pool and the jacuzzi but for an extra €5 to use. As its February, There was no buffet hot breakfast either. It was just cold continental breakfast and there wasn’t a lot of cold meats on the serving table and we thought €10 was probably too much for what was on offer. The walls were a bit thin as well as we could hear their conversation next room to us. There was enough cooking utensils to use for simple meals. The cleaner lady was nice who replaced our towels on request. The hotel offers €15 to park your car underground but in front of the hotel is free street parking (free on white lined street parking. The blue lined ones you have to pay) There was a restaurant in the lobby as well but we did not get to try it.

Great location, food was great aswell as breakfast. Reception Staff very helpful aswell as housekeeping . Our room was clean but seemed rush - there was a soap left in a bath tap from previous guests, glasses still had lipstick stains on.- otherwise good experience

Second visit to this aparthotel. Excellent treatment from kind and caring reception staff when arrived totally exhausted at midnight. Beautiful, very clean 2 bedroom apartment with large kitchen and huge balcony. Great check out staff, polite and totally professional. We were sad to go and will definitely return next year, health permitting. Thank you.
