Friendly and knowledgeable host Nice quality breakfast Decent size room Good location for the beach and town. Dogs stay for free. Bus stop only a metres from the front door. There are a few parking spaces or on road parking. Bus stop right outside for regation

This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel and I enjoyed it just as much, if not more. The host goes beyond what I would expect from this type of hotel and was particularly to an older lady who needed special care. I particularly appreciated the gluten free options for breakfast, which included sausages.

The owner confirmed question before we arrived and was there to show us the room, letting us know breakfast time and aquantus us with the keys. The room was clean and warm with a separate toilet and shower that worked well. The breakfast was great with a choice of cereal, lots of high quality full english breakfast items and toast with jams. Lots of drink options too with fresh orange juice. Jim the owner has made a special place to stay, even allowing guests to use the dining area outside of breakfast time with a microwave available to use. There are information leaflets for the area too, with the main town just being a short walk away. We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. Thanks Jim

Very clean and convenient for the centre and beach. Nice owner and excellent breakfast. Would definitely reccomend.

23rd August Had difficulties in contacting host, as email sent a couple of days before our visit and a telephone call on the norming which went straight to answer phone. No contact made by host before we attended. Room clean and tidy. No parking on front as although 3 parking bays 2 cars parked badly so has to park on the street

The owner was extremely helpful and friendly. They provided us with a cooked breakfast as well as a selection of cereals. Shenandoah House about 5 minutes walk from the beach and is close to local shops, restaurants and cafes. It is also within walking distance to the Turner Gallery and Dreamland.
