Room frozen on arrival no bar no restaurant as advertised no reception on arrival had to wait to enter due too code given being wrong

Clean tidy hotel room. Nicely decorated. The king size(maybe bigger) bed was extremely comfortable. The only down points were the windows let in a lot of cold air. Okay, the first night there was a gale force wind and secondly the windows I think were original Georgian single pain glass. The bathroom was very nice and also clean but the shower didn't fit the holder properly so I had to hold it when showering and there was a hole in the pipe that leads from the mixer to the shower head so water was firing out all over. Those are the only 2 points that were wrong with the room otherwise the room was fine so don't be put off.

A real gem opposite the beach a short stroll into town. Greeted by a great host could not do more for the guests. Had a sea view room really clean and modern. Highly recommend this place will be returning soon for sure

Took a trip to Margate for a weekend in February having previously stayed at this hotel previously. Was grateful to receive a telephone call a few weeks later to advise that my wife's driving license had been found at the property and was told it would be posted having checked the correct address. Having not received this a week or so later i contacted the Hotel via email and was advised there had been a miscommunication and it would be posted that day. Two weeks later nothing has been received and my telephone calls and emails are being ignored.

A HIDDEN GEM! Don’t hesitate! book this place. This historic seaside hotel is something truly special, overflowing with charm, warmth, and soul. From the cozy, character-filled rooms to the calming sound of the sea and the genuinely welcoming staff, every moment feels intentional and unforgettable. If you’re looking for a peaceful, magical escape by the water, this is the kind of place people dream about and return to again and again!!!

We visited the Crescent Victoria for the first time since me and my wife met there in 1969 (back then, The Pavillion View). After 53 years of marriage we were delighted to find that the rooms have been renovated to a high standard and that the renovations continue. The downstairs bar and restaurant are due for completion shortly. The staff extended us a fabulous welcome and gave us a guided tour of the work and advised us of the hotel’s more recent history. Khaled and his team are working hard in this relatively new venture for them and thoroughly deserve to succeed. We could not have been welcomed or made to feel at home more and we send them our thanks and best wishes. We both hope to return and sample the hotel when fully operational.

We booked a king room. The room was very small, but had everything we needed, bed comfy, ensuite facilities good. The hotel is in a good location, close to the harbour. The area was very representative of Margate, a bit run down, but full of character with many historic landmarks. The price was good very value for Margate.

Our stay at Cresent Victoria was fantastic. Owner and partner were really pleasant and extremely accommodating. They also very kindly held a parking space for our car Room was clean and modern with very comfy bed and good heating Ocean view was very nice Well situated with many nice bars and restaurants close by Looking forward to returning Thanks for making the stay very pleasant

Initially stayed here Easter 2024 and then rebooked for a family event at Easter 2025. Paid in full for my room at the time for 2025. Now I find in December 2024 my booking has been cancelled. Reason given hotel is closing down 🤔 So a little investigating proved this wrong, infact despite my room being cancelled I found I can still book in this hotel for the same dates and three rooms left. The difference .. price has been doubled! YEP DOUBLED!
