"Good value. The good: mini  fridge, microwave , AC,  good hot water , fairly comfy bed and fairly fluffy towels. Coffee maker made very watery coffee (glad we brought our plastic filter drip stuff and better ground coffee. Room away from street surprisingly quiet. . Looks clean, but both rooms had a faint funny smell (like urine miixed w cleaning product.) my husband and adult daughter couldn’t smell it but I have a super nose.)"

"Kinney still feels like a dressed up concrete block, but has an awesome location close to the heart of Venice. Although it's not one of the spots right on the beach, those hotels are really resting on their laurels and don't operate correctly. Kinney staff are professional and actually do their jobs, you get less "crazies" and it is extremely clean especially for Venice standards. My only complaint is that the hours of the gym seem arbitrary when it could be open 24/7. Because I only stayed for one night and checked in late, I wasn't able to get a workout in."
