SureStay by Best Western Marion

Breakfast was good and everything was fresh. The room was clean except the sofa beds sheets were dirty and had to have the staff come in and change em out.

When we were entering the building the front desk staff was sitting in her car right outside the door talking with another person in the car next to her and all we could smell was ****. I didn’t realize it was her until I rang the bell to check in and she came from there inside to check us in. I asked for a king size bed with pull out sofa and was given 2 double beds. The room had a can light hanging down from the ceiling as someone didn’t bother to attach it correctly. There was spots on the carpet that looked like smudged paint.

The hotel during our stay was very quiet. The rooms were very clean and spacious. There was a large sitting area for breakfast. The truck with some of the food choices for their breakfast bar had not arrived so the options were apparently more limited than usual. They did have continental breakfast items, including cereal, toast, bagels, and waffles, which was fine with us.

The room was great. The steam was great. Most of the staff was very nice. One of the two kitchen people are rude and made comments about people eating and was just very rude there was 2 hours of breakfast left, and she was making comments like I'm not putting no more food out there. This ain't and all you can eat buffet.And the lady was just making her and her husband a plate, and she only had one eye, and that lady was very rude to her

The room was clean and the staff were absolutely amazing. Very very customer service oriented however, the breakfast was pretty meager . The pool was cold and the workout room the treadmill wasn’t working.. and the only other option they had was a bike and some weights so not a lot. You can tell they’re under construction and they’re trying to make the place look better so that’s good.

The good is that the room was very clean and in good shape. However, the bed was hard as a rock. Ive hurt less after spending a night im my car or in the airport. The a "award winning breakfast" was also pretty sparse. I will not be staying at any best western properties in the future.

Much nicer on the inside than the appearance from outside. Pleasantly surprised.

Didn't get the room I paid for there was still trash in our room the pool was cold when they said it was heated and the breakfast ******. Waste of money and my vacation days.......

We were there over the Christmas holidays and I’ve stayed there several times before on Christmas Day. They did not have any breakfast and the next day. They only had a few items. Also, the year before I brought my pet and was charged for the stay a minimum fee however they have changed that now and they charge you per day. I wish they would’ve advertise that I would’ve stayed somewhere else.
