Self-service check-in, I didn't see a single hotel staff during the whole process. Experience an American motel and complain that the air conditioner is too noisy. It is located directly opposite the bedside and makes you dizzy. The environment of the town is not bad!

Clean remodeled room. Never saw a staff member the hole time I was there. Love this little old mining town. Best and cheapest place to eat is place called the Hideout Saloon. Exit Mother Lode Lodge and go right. turn right at gas station. Small sign on the left. Down stairs. Friendly staff.

In the middle of Mariposa and very walkable to a shops and few places to eat. Nothing fancy but clean and well-maintained. Recommended for a simple stay in the cool little town.
