Nice old pub A nice welcome,plenty of tea & coffees & water bottles but no biscuits, room was small but comfortable,situated in a quiet back yard where bins are & an old van are though.Parking a little tight but ok.Food was good,drinks were expensive.Breakfast was good with anything you want.Room not serviced if longer than one night.Comfortable bed nice clean sheets & duvet.No Netflix connection.

Good value for basic room and good breakfast. Clean and comfortable. The condition let it down a little, e.g. badly damaged headboard, it would be easy to replace. Also the rooms are in the car park and cars are right outside the downstairs rooms’ windows. With an eye mask I got a good nights sleep and the pub is lovely, people friendly and the breakfast is very good.

I had an excellent stay, lovely rooms and a friendly pub with great food.

The Barleycorn is situated in the middle of a village, and it was lovely to listen to the wood pigeons burbling/cooing through the window. The rooms are not above the pub, but behind, and consequently quiet; ours was nicely furnished and the bed/mattress comfy. The owners are enthusiastic and welcoming. The main disadvantage to the location concerns traffic, such as Macdonald's lorries, that seems to race along the road: it makes finding somewhere to safely walk the dogs a little challenging. We needed a location that was close to Ludgershall, and Collingbourne Kingston was convenient.
