A wonderful place to relax! The house is comfortable, clean, and cozy, with everything you need. The terrace is gorgeous—it's a pleasure to sit out there in the evenings! Lots of animals roam freely. The hostess is very responsive and wonderful. I highly recommend this place!

Stylish rooms with soaring ceilings. Wonderful hostess, very welcoming. Huge balcony overlooking the forest, where various animals come. Large shared kitchen with all the necessary kitchen appliances. It's a shame we only stayed one night.

If you're looking for a real connection with nature, this is the place to be. Most people go there for the Kruger National Park and get disappointed when they don't see the lion's... Here, you get to interact with the animals first hand. The host, Bernadette, was so kind to organise some animal feed for us and we got to feed the zebras and kudus from our hands - you won't get that experience anywhere else. The rooms and cooking utensils were clean. Our two nights there were cosy and quiet, with the occasional sounds of animal calls outside.

We had a comfortable stay in the family room with our 2 children. Lots of space in the room, comfy beds and lots of space for the children to play outside. They even had a dip in the pool - though it was winter and really rather cold... Well equipped kitchen which was a pleasure to cook in and meet other guests to swap info on what had happened in the day. Very cool to see animals so close to the building. Host was incredibly helpful without being at all intrusive.

We have often stayed at Serentity DuBois Lodge over the years, our first visit was in 2008 and we have always been treated like family. The rooms are large with ensuites and a deck. The communal kitchen is a great bonus with plenty of cooking space and multiple refrigerators. There are plenty of dishes and pots and pans. There is a good braii area as well. One of the things that we like about the property is that all guests share the dining area. We have often met fellow travellers from around the world and it is always wonderful to hear their experiences and share travel tips. Bernadette, the owner goes above and beyond to make sure everyone is comfortable and well looked after. We had daily visitors including zebra, mongoose, kudu and impala. I highly recommend this oasis in the park, a short walk to the fence line with Kruger. We will certainly return.

We were in the impression that the Lodge is inside the Conservation Area of the Park but it is not, in fact the Marloth Park area is outside it though with all views of the main park. A few minutes walk from the lodge is the Crocodile river and the fencing of reserved area. But one enjoys all the views of reserved area from that border. About the lodge - no praise is enough for Bernadette. She is simply superb - absolutely helpful and considerate. I shall suggest everyone to avail her property if available.

From your balcony or patio, giraffes, zebra’s, warthogs, bush baby monkeys and impala’s pass by. At 3min walk, behind the fence, you see Crocodile River and Kruger. Bernadette is a fantastic host, Lodge fits into the area and has everything you need. A car is recommended in the park to go to the few shops/restaurants

Serenity, you're not just a lodge, you're a home, and Bernadette, you're the heart of it. W'll be back, and w'll bring more love and memories to share with you.

we had a great stay. The lodge is located in a small park with roaming (safe) animals that you can interact with. The location is not far from Krüger Park entrance. The best is Bernadette, the host who was so kind and helped us with everything. Highly highly recommended.

Our host Bernadette was so helpful and easy to communicate with. Bernadette was on hand at any time day or night if needed which was very kind to offer. The accommodation was just what we needed, 2 spacious en-suite rooms, sharing a clean spacious communal kitchen with plenty of fridge and freezer space and communal lounge area inside and outside. The lodge has a nice safari vibe being close to the Kruger park gate where you start your game drives. I totally recommend Serenity Du Bois Lodge.
