Casa de Maris Spa & Resort Hotel Adult Only 16 Plus

We have had the best time at CDM met some beautiful people. Will keep this as brief as possible. NOT!!! I can babble trust me. Room was lovely cleaned to a high standard daily and mini bar replenished as required we didn’t use it much our room attendant Ayşe was just lovely and always greeted us with a smile. Food was great plenty of options for all, don’t forget the grill station outside in the evening where the pizzas and pide are made during the day. We are a big family of fruit, salad and veg lovers. Our only mild criticism is that there wasn’t a good enough variety of whole fruit for our liking, but popped to Migros and stocked up supplies from there for our breakfast. Apples and oranges don’t really cut it for us as good enough sadly for 5*. Salads were lovely and eaten at every meal. Put it this way I did the post holiday weight check this morning and I’ve gained just 2lb, shocked myself. Waiters were lovely but Onur and Hakan really went the extra mile for us and made an impact with us. ⚠️ Towelgate alert. In all honesty it happens around the pool but we prefer the jetty as didn’t want loud music and loved the breeze and being able to hear prayer call from the mosque. Only issue I’d prefer the jetty accessible at sunrise found it barricaded off with sunbeds until about 0730/0800. I saw no members of staff reserve beds for anyone what you will witness is staff helping people put their towels on beds. Ahmed served around the beach and jetty area and as far as we were concerned he was lovely and attentive and did a great job considering how many people required service by one person. If you feel it’s slow for yourselves then it’s just a minutes walk to the pool bar to get a drink. Speaking of which we preferred the iced coffees from the main bar and for an added treat laced with Malibu on occasion . Entertainment is variable some we enjoyed and some not so much, it’s all to personal taste so go with the flow that’s what we tend to do. Lera (I think I’ve her name correct) from the entertainment team always chatted and included us beautiful person. We did visit the Ottoman a la carte and really enjoyed it but want to try the fish next time. We also spent an evening at Roxy’s Show Bar and really enjoyed it but planned it on CDM bingo and karaoke night as that’s not for us. Reception staff and guest relations team are lovely always willing to help. We did pop to Marmaris for an evening and walked to Icmeler for a few hours of mooching. A beautiful walk which took us 40 minutes and we strolled only and stopped to take photos enroute. Unfortunately we missed Turkish night as arrived late on a Tuesday and left the following Tuesday. I’ve heard it’s great. So we are currently waiting for my travel agent to return from his own holiday to book our return trip to CDM in just over 8 weeks as that is how much we enjoyed our stay. This was our first stay , the rooms were spotless and the beds were very comfortable. Housekeeping daily and restocking of mini fridge. There was a wide choice of food and also from snack bars , daily entertainment , Hakan (entertainment staff) was especially good, getting everyone involved with games parties and just having general chats , lovely man and very funny . We would go back just to see him! Overall a brilliant stay , thank you to all the other staff that made our stay memorable!

First time in Marmaris and we definitely picked a great hotel for our first visit. Accomodation was top notch with daily cleaning and towel changes etc. Fresh beach towels too whenever you needed them was great too. The spa area was also great nad had an amazing turkish bath followed by a massage. Waiter service was great and the drinks good. Special shout out to Emin aka Eamon in the restaurant area made us feel welcome everytime and was always at hand to make things perfect. Didnt catch the waiters name on the beach, but he done an amazing job serving over 50 people on occasion as was kept very busy and by some demanding customers, I witnessed this guy literally running constantly to keep people happy. The hotel should maybe have 2 people in this area. Entertainment was good but would be great if it lasted a little longer. Happened to be there for the anniversary where a band apocalypse played and was a great show. The food on a daily basis was always top quality and plenty to choose from. There was the buffet restaurant, snack bars and a la carte and plenty to choose from. The hotel is close to the shops and on the beach front which was great. Only stayed 5 nights but wish it was longer. Staff always friendly and the guy at the spa and Okan the photographer always greated us on a dialy basis and had some conversations. It is a 16 year old plus hotel which was also great. If coming back to Marmaris this is the hotel that I would more than likely come back too but would stay longer and try and get seaview room as it looked amazing. Elif at guest relations asked us how did we find our stay and the only thing i could say was it would be great if evening entertainment lasted a bit longer. Casa de Maris is a fabulous 5 star hotel in Marmaris, Turkey. From the moment we arrived we were treated wonderfully by staff. The rooms are lush and the beds are super comfortable. The mini fridge was freshly stocked everyday. The food was varied and good quality. The hotel even has its own patisserie. The pool area was comfortable with cocktails being served all day. The hotel was spotlessly clean. We had a fantastic time and would definitely recommend the hotel.

We are regular returning guests to CDM and once again we had another fantastic holiday. The staff at this hotel are extremely helpful, friendly and hard working especially Selahattin and Hakin who are our favourites. Huseyin the Food and Drinks Manager always had a presence around the hotel and was very respectful of all of his staff whilst spending time getting to know guests. The quality of the food at the hotel I felt was better this year than of previous years. This year it was almost impossible to get a Sunbed at the Pool as guests are putting towels down from around 3am. the Hotel really needs to look at imposing some rules/boundaries around reserving Sunbeds as this angered many guests this year. Be very aware that it is extremely slippy around the pool as there have been many accidents. Finally I cannot fail to mention Murat, the Spa Guy, who walks around the pool and beach relentlessly taking booking for the Spa. Murat is very friendly and has a great sense of humour without being too pushy and gave us really good prices for our treatments. The Girls at the Spa were also fabulous.

I visited the Casa De Maris in May with my husband to celebrate my 50th birthday. From start to finish we had a lovely holiday from the easy check in at 1am to the finish after an 11 night stay. Firstly a special mention too our housekeeper on floor 4, the room was serviced daily, sheets changed and lovely bed arrangements, mini bar was replenished. Always got a smile and hello. Next the fabulous bar and waiting staff, always had a smile and chatted to so many, but a special mention for Emine, Ennis, Emri, Salih, Hakan and we never got the girls name in the lobby bar during the evening, so friendly and always chatted to us. The food and drink is exceptionally good with all the meat cooked to perfection, carved chicken, turkey, lamb, fish and duck and my favourite the Mexican steak. Lunches were great from the pizza corner and snack bar the cheese pide, pizzas burgers and we would go for salad alongside our pizza from the restaurant. The drinks were good, some were served better then others but we enjoyed the cocktails, special milkshakes and so many shots, one in particular the Irish shots made by Guney who was an excellent barman. I have to give a huge special mention to Ahmet who worked tirelessly on the jetty, on his own to add, handing out water, beer and taking drink orders walking with a huge tray and making the drinks to bring down. A lovely lad who has started this season and had some laughs with him. We joined in most of the activities provided by the animation team, and chatted to most and a special mention for Lera. We are a couple who do join in for a laugh and this is part of our holiday and respect some who don't appreciate this sometimes in an adult only hotel. The evening entertainment was hit and miss. Some nights better then others and as some have said some nights only half an hour then nothing else. Some music would have been better. We have been to hotels with more going on and some actually quieter, depends what you want and there is plenty in Marmaris. The best night was the south American dance troupe La Hoca. I was given a fruit platter, bag and lovely letter for my birthday by the hotel. I do wish we had emailed to upgrade to a sea view as we had the land view above the reception which was ok, however we did have a couple of early mornings due to the Cockerells across the road. Nothing some earplugs from the pharmacy didn't sort and we did get used to them and slept through. Our only couple of issues that we had during our stay were, one person from the animationion asking us to write a trip advisor review whilst we were there and a firm no twice, they got the message! Secondly as others have said trying to get a sunbed around the pool was an issue. We did manage most days and get the last 2 at 8am. My husband only joined in the 6am club, as he was up early with his back, so did go down early and couldn't believe how many were taken! Just returned from a 7 night stay at this hotel and I would definitely go again! We arrived at silly o’clock in the morning but we were greeted with smiles, checked in and cases took to our room for us. Getting a sunbed round the pool is impossible unless you’re willing to get up at stupid o’clock in the morning to reserve one but the beach/ jetty is amazing and Ahmed is worth his weight in gold running round all day getting drinks for everyone on the beach. The male lifeguard is also fab brings you a cushion for the sunbed every day and always smiling! Food is brilliant always something to choose from and always different it didn’t get repetitive. The pizza ‘van’ in the pool area is amazing, highly recommend! Book into the alacarte it was lovely and Beste and Can were amazing throughout. The cleanliness is great, Fatma was our maid on our floor and was so so lovely and did all pretty patterns with our towels. I wouldn’t say the hotel is 5* there’s just a few little touches that let it down ever so slightly but on the whole amazing. Entertainment on a night is a little hit and miss and only normally lasts for about 30 minutes which is a shame. The entertainment team are lovely but hound you everyday to get involved in activities or go clubbing, we didn’t want this we just wanted to relax on our holiday but no matter how much you say no they don’t seem to get the message, they even try to sit with you at dinner. All inclusive holiday but they wanted £10 each to play bingo? The spa is lovely, we had a Turkish bath and massage and was lovely the staff couldn’t have been nicer. Overall a lovely holiday and would 100% return to this hotel.
