This is a lovely little Riad, located tight in the Souks and only a short walk from the main square, Jemaa El Fna. Even though it is located near the hustle and bustle of the city, once inside the Riad you are in a wonderful calm and homely atmosphere. The staff, Sadia and Nadia, at the Riad were great. The place is kept spotlessly clean and the optional breakfasts are well worth the additional charge. We were lucky to be there at the same time as the owner, Liliane, who had some great advice about the area and stories about the Riad.

The host was very unfriendly when we arrived and unhelpful in answering any questions we had. The bed was made up as two single beds instead of a double as we had requested. When we asked this to be changed she was very difficult about it. That said, the place was clean and the older lady who worked there was incredibly nice, helpul and smiley.

In the old medina, a stone's throw from Jemaa El Fna square and protected from the noise and bustle of the shopping streets, this small riad allowed us to rest while being in the heart of Marrakech. The rooms are comfortable, quiet. Internet connection but (phew!) no television or other intrusive technologies. Breakfast on the patio, under the fragrant orange trees and the birds that come to drink from the fountain. Everything is done to make you feel at home. Very happy to have discovered this place: we recommend it to anyone who wants to come to Morocco without feeling like a tourist.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce Riad authentique et au calme. Il est très bien situé pour visiter Marrakech (à peine à 10 minutes à pieds de la place Jeema El Fna). Essaadia, la gouvernante de la maison, nous a très bien accueilli et conseillé sur ce qu’il y avait à faire à Marrakech, où manger et où faire des achats. Le petit déjeuner, pris dans le patio avec le chant des oiseaux est très complet. La chambre était spacieuse et propre (lit et ménage fait tous les jours). Nous avons également rencontré Liliane la propriétaire avec qui nous avons passé de bons moments d’échanges. Merci pour les oranges ; elles étaient délicieuses 😋
