Good hotel and good service. I will be coming back to this hotel. Location is good, nice and quiet and not far from gozo and the ferry is easy to take. Going to Valletta is also easy with the public transport it take an hour to get there but don’t go early because of traffic

The hotel is nice. It’s really clean and has a good view out to the sea. The rooms are nice. BUT… the service from the waiters is appalling to be truthful. They’re all nice people but nice people who appear not to be trained and also to be fair there aren’t enough of them. We used to order drinks and it would more often than not take 30 to 45 minutes for the drinks to arrive. There were 6 of us and more often than not one of us had to get up and ask the waiters where our drinks were and then when they did arrive the order was often wrong. Most of them appeared to be in an absolute fog! The lobby bar closed at half 10 and then you had to go upstairs for the last hour. The entertainment wasn’t brilliant either. Quite frankly there wasn’t much of it. There was only one a La carte restaurant open as well which was disappointing but I do realise it’s only early season. The breakfast was really good but then again there was no one to clean your tables so we had to eat with piles of dirty plates and dishes around us and you had to search for someone to move them and they looked shocked that we had asked. We only ate the buffet once and it was nice and we ate at the Italian 4 nights which was lovely. We did have a good holiday but honestly there is much improvement needed. I honestly don’t know how they will cope in high season. I’m surprised no one else has mentioned any of this because there were other people with the same complaints when we were there.As the hotel is now I’d say it’s a 3 star but if the staff are properly trained and the numbers increased it would be so much better. I will say the cleaners are amazing especially the young man who cleans the pool area. He never stops. The guys at the pool bar were also good and the food there was lovely but unfortunately only a limited menu was on because of early season.

Great location, super clean rooms, friendly staff, delicious food, ample choice for breakfast. We had a sea view room which is conducive to a relaxing evening. Ideal for long walks in the Maltese countryside & a few minutes away from Ghadira Bay
