La Residence du Vieux Port

It's an old building, so the room was a bit cramped with limited space, but the interior decor was nice. The hotel's location is excellent, and the service and overall environment are great. The small balcony offers a view of the harbor.

I booked this hotel in a rush, seeing a 4.5 rating on Ctrip. Environment: First of all, the hotel's location is very convenient, right in the old port, with a view of the pier from the window – the view is okay. Transportation is convenient, very close to the train station. The staff were very warm and attentive, five-star service. The following is for those who value cleanliness: The hotel's cleanliness was disappointing, which was my top priority for accommodation. The facilities did not match the price and four-star standard. For example, the wall materials in the room clearly needed replacement or renovation; they weren't just old, there was obvious dirt on the walls, which was very unpleasant to see while lying in bed. The hairdryer was heavily dusty. The toilet bowl had a yellowish tinge, making it unusable. The window faces the harbor, but the curtains offered virtually no light blocking. They were single-layered fabric in very bright colors, waking you up immediately.
