Novotel Suites Marseille Centre Euroméd

Great hotel right by the port. There's a pharmacy downstairs and a large mall directly across the street. The cleaning staff were all very friendly, and the air conditioning in the room worked great. A good stay overall.

First off, the location is great. It's not in the Old Port, but it's not too far, within walking distance. There's a pretty large pharmacy right downstairs with very reasonable prices. The front desk staff member spoke fluent Chinese and was very enthusiastic. We had an early flight and planned to just store our luggage and head out, but they gave us a room straight away, allowing us to freshen up after a long journey. The street next door has what's considered the largest commercial center. On the third floor, there's an observation deck – perfect for sunbathing and enjoying the sea breeze, very picturesque. In fact, on our last day, when we were considering staying an extra night in Marseille, our first thought was to come back to this hotel.

The room was cozy and charming, and the breakfast spread was fantastic. Plus, the hotel is right next to a subway station, making check-in and getting around super convenient!

The hotel is located near the harbor, right next to a shopping mall, making dining and shopping very convenient. In our room, the toilet and shower room were separate. The toilet was a bit small and both had steps, which might be inconvenient for elderly guests or children. The service attitude was excellent and very friendly. There's a billiards table in the lobby on the first floor, as well as a children's reading area.

The hotel's price is decent, and the location is good, but the main issue is that it's very old. The facilities are outdated and quite dilapidated; it's definitely in need of a renovation. On the bright side, the service attitude was acceptable.

The suite is actually sectioned off by a movable curtain in the middle. If you don't use it, the room is quite spacious, enough for three people to open up their suitcases. The bathroom is integrated and very clean, and it's separate from the shower room.
