The People - Marseille

Staying here genuinely changed my brain chemistry and I will definitely be back! First of all, the hostel is very nice and new. The staff was amazing and they helped clean my bed when I threw up on it and they gave me another bed in the room. The beds were the best I’ve been to; they are large and have curtains with places to put your belongings and and charge your devices. They also have a great outdoors area to sit and talk with people!! For all my solo travelers, I made so so many amazing new international friends on this trip and we all explored marseille together. If you’re still thinking of whether or not you want to stay, DO IT!! The rooms are spacious and air conditioned, the beds are comfy, the showers were clean (in fact the rooms are cleaned on the daily), there is a convenience store right next door, and from the hostel it is easy to get anywhere!

The air cond are breakdown during our stay. The room is big but not clean enough. Some of the staff attitude can be further improve, few are not so friendly.

Excellent hostel. Friendly staff, clean, spacious rooms with AC, and there is a shared lounge with kettle and microwave as well as a bar. Location is superb, within walking distance to the old quarter as well as the port.

The location was good, and the hostel was relatively clean overall. However, the ventilation in the bathroom was very poor, so the heat from the shower, moisture, and odors got trapped inside, which was a downside. As for the service, it wasn't bad, but it wasn't particularly good either—just average. Regarding the amenities, it was nice to have AC, but since it's a hostel, there basically wasn't much else provided.

This place was a bit expensive for Marseille imo and paying to hold luggage was definitelya first for me. The staff was friendly, though. There is an itty bitty cafe downstairs but when thr room fill up, it'sa pain to order anything. I was in a room with a leaking sink drain pipe and water got everywhere. B'c there are no towels, I had to dry it up with my own personal towel and then buy a new one for myself. So. I then needed to go to a laundromat which there is ine conveniently around the corner. Pricey. Location of the hostel is pretty close to all transport so it was easy to find. The city is beautiful so I'll come back again.

Located 15 min by foot away from Marseille Saint Charles. Room is well-fitted. Very comfortable bed with ample shelve spaces and a curtain for privacy and darkness. Bed frame is large and not shaky or creaky. Toilet is large but shower head is a little old as the spouts give uneven pressure (concentrated in the middle). Not many food options nearby past 9pm so be sure to arrive in the city early.

I would give this hostel a 4.5/5.0. It's clean, well-maintained, and the air conditioning runs all day. The staff is incredibly friendly and easygoing. My only minor concern is the location; it's a bit far from the old town, usually taking me about a 15-minute walk to get there.

There is no kitchen. There is microwave and refrigerator. But any creatures. No spoons forks and knife... you can't cook there. But you could borrow it from the bar counter. Next to reception. They give you water in your water bottle if you ask them. The room and bathroom is clean. Out side of hostel there is dirty and really noisy even night.

The toilets and beds are clean . Check in and check out process was smooth . Room is spacious and comfortable
