Excellent, local food with great selection of wine, probably the best in Marteltal. The staff is very friendly, always very helpful. They would advice you in terms of wine selection as well as find the place even, if restaurant looks like being full. It was also helpful, that the resturant is open late, so even if we were late from the mountains were able to eat something warm. Special thanks to Alexander.

Wir waren eine Woche im Waldheim und dürfen zusammenfassen: Slow-Food-Küche auf höchstem Niveau, mit allerlei feinen Extras wie beispielsweise die "Saure Suppe" oder die Tortelloni aus Schüttelbrot-Teig, die Käsen vom Nachbarn oder der Bio-Speck aus eigener Produktion. Mit vielen Extras wird hier der Slow-Food-Gedanke hoch gehalten. Noch ein Plus: Der Weinkeller ist regional und sehr gut sortiert. Und dann noch das ganze Team: Kompliment an die gesamte Mann- und Frauschaft, wirklich alles vom Feinsten. Das Hotel ist gemütlich, hier geht Wohn- und Schlafqualität vor übertriebenem Designspielerein. Fazit: Eines der besten Häuser Südtirols.
