Best Western Martinsville Inn

Staff was wonderful; however, the facility itself was poor. Shower did not work- I stood there wetting a washcloth with the water coming out of the spigot. Outside was homeless people homes ( sleeping bags) in the parking lot. Room had the “smell” that comes from age and deterioration. The staff was kind and helpful, so this in no way reflects on them. But it was just kind of cringe.

Brkfst was fresh. Omelet was good. Room and common spaces were clean. Dog-friendly room was clean & easy access to outside grassy areas.

The Staff was exceptional, the breakfast was great, the room was clean and comfortable, I'd stay again and recommend for others If I HAD to come up with an area of improvement, all I can actually think of is that the fixtures/lighting/outlets/electrical devices could be more modern... But that's really the only improvement I can think of, everything was far beyond acceptable, I had a great stay

Our room had a hole to the outside above the air conditioner around the window frame-which was also loose and pulling away from the wall. The carpet on the floor was pulling away from the wall as well. Towels were thin and the bed sheets were pilling and old looking.

The person at the desk named Amy. My wife forgot her long coat and glasses. We received a call from Amy telling us that she had my wife’s coat and glasses. She said she would box them up and mail them to us via a UPS shipment that we are prepaying with UPS. That was amazing and so kind of her to go above and beyond.

I wasn't there long. But check in was very nice. I really liked the receptionist. She was very friendly and knowledgeable, not to mention, nice to look at. I didn't get her name. The room was very clean. I did not like the soft water. Taking a shower was not enjoyable. If you have a water softener, you should turn it down some. I used way more water trying to rinse off the soap than I use for 3 showers. You should rethink that.

Staff was fantastic - friendly, well trained, pros that are good at their job. The property and rooms are very dated, but clean and quiet. If I need to stay in Martinsville again, I'll stay at the Best Western.

It’s a nice little hotel, great people working there, rooms were clean, continental breakfast was great. It was a little strange circumventing the property to go through a neighborhood, no way to the highway? And where was the elevator?

Great stay!! I enjoy staying there. They are very friendly, keep our room clean and Aldena went out of her way to help us. She needs a raise!! I’m not sure I spelled her name right but she had an accent and she is a wonderful! Person.
