Fantastic and very different kind of stay, personal but professional. Made sure our stay was all smooth and was very helpful when accommodating my check in needs. Artistic is an understatement this hotel is a masterpiece inside. Every room is unique and different the lounge makes ur jaw drop and the Breakfast is something you don’t want to miss. I will definitely be visiting in the future

The most amazing hotel I've ever had the privilege to stay at. From the wonderfully attentive staff (Josh was awesome, Alex is wonderful) to the best nights sleep I've had in years......everything was perfect. I stayed as a business guest but hope to return with my family to really make the most of this perfect little treasure.

Spent a wonderful weekend at the Broomhill Art Hotel and the stunning Sculpture Gardens. As a fan of Glam Rock I was lucky enough to be staying in the Velvet Goldmine suite. I slept in a bed that felt like I was sleeping on a fluffy cloud, amazingly comfortable. The suite provided everything needed to make a welcoming stay and also had gorgeous views over the gardens. The hotel is packed with amazing art and unique furniture as well as movie memorabilia. Enough to make you feel you are on a movie set. The food was exquisite and served by attentive staff. Dine in if possible, I doubt you will eat better anywhere in Devon. Lovely evening finished off with delicious martinis. Breakfast was a feast. Michelle and Alex were amazing hosts. Very friendly and accommodating. Beware, this hotel has so much and is set in such beautiful grounds, you may not feel the need to visit any of the surrounding natural beauty of Devon. 5 star experience!

Where to start! The more time you spend at Broomhill the more exciting it becomes. The owners describe it as an immersive experience and you really do need time to sit, absorb and appreciate everything they have curated/brought together. And spending time there is easy to do with excellent food (guest Chef Carla Jones was with them for the week before she goes off to train for the culinary Olympics), three extraordinary sitting rooms and outdoor sculpture park. Every wall is crammed with original pieces (you can buy pretty much everything there) and the new cinema room is the perfect place to kick back. Josh looked after us so well - timing the offer of drinks/food at the perfect moment, and Alex, Michelle and Charlie made us so welcome. Breakfast was super - favourites were the locally sourced smoked trout, porridge with coconut milk and the homemade banana bread. To make the most of Broomhill make sure you go with an open mind and interact with your surroundings. A great base too for those exploring the wild coastline nearby. An unforgettable 2 night stay, thank you!

Visited the Canvas Restaurant.. Bleddy loved it, super food and attentive professional service, the restaurant deserves to be busier, the cocktails were cracking as was the food. As a local I cant wait to go back with my visitors.. A gem.

We have been here a few times before. This was the first visit since being in new ownership. We stayed for 1 night in the Amelie room. For me, they have kept the soul of the place, with its focus on art of different styles, and actually improved on it, clearly investing a lot in improvements. The food was excellent, with an emphasis on sourcing stuff locally, as far as possible. The breakfast was honestly possibly the best I have had at a hotel or restaurant, with high quality ingredients, really well cooked. Normally I find coffee at breakfast in hotels pretty meh, but I risked a latte.. And it was great. So I had another. The room and bed were very comfortable. I liked the effort that had gone into the nod to the Amelie film. I measured the wifi at 180 mbps. And the TV was good quality with internet connection, so you could hook up to your Netflix etc subscription if you wanted. The sculpture garden is always worth an hour's wander - again, some new pieces added since last time. Basically a really enjoyable stay, with friendly staff, a great atmosphere (visit all the themed lounges), and excellent food and drink. Planning the next trip.

Arrived after a four hour drive from London and was warmly greeted by the owner. The hotel is filled with an incredibly eclectic mixture of artwork and pop culture exhibits. The rooms are very well presented. Each room is decorated in the theme of a popular film, I stayed in the "Lost in Translation" room. I have looked back at some of the reviews giving this hotel 3 stars and feel this is an injustice! If you want the kind of these these folks wanted go to a characterless "Travel Lodge". If you want a place to stay that has personality and is an experience in itself come here.

Sculpture Park - We visited the hotel’s sculpture park and was a little disappointed. A fabulous setting and some fascinating works of art, but like the country house hotel that hosts it, it was rather tired and dilapidated. Paths, steps and even the works of are were in serious need of repair, many areas rather overgrown. No clear trail of where you should go, we were given a map of sorts but it didn’t represent the site, a QR code on the map was supposed to give an audio tour but clearly the park had not paid the subscription to the suppliers! The experience was interesting. If you are unsteady on you feet or disabled this place is not for you.

What a marvellous experience. Came across this Wonderland quite by chance and arranged a dinner for my family in the exclusive Cinema lounge full of genuine iconic film memorabilia Pre-dinner stroll through the Sculpture Gardens a wonderful concert showcasing the beauty of nature dancing with innovative art Dinner, what a treat, amazing, unique tastes and textures beautifully presented and expertly served. The crème de la crème was our Host Alex. Alex has created a Wonderland experience in which he revels. He was friendly, welcoming, humorous and full of information of all one sees there, his passion shines through Alex also made our dog welcome bringing him water, treats and a pillow. Thank you Alex
